We booked the family bungalow and it is very clean, has superb view on waterfall and situated in the private location of garden not far from reception. We spend only one night l, but saw giant squirells, monkeys and birds I recommend also to go to tracking with our host Janith: he really loves the nature and is a great guide. Children felt safe and were very interested in forest trip.

The Whitegates Lodge ligger i Weligama i regionen Matara District, nära Midigama strand, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering samt tillgång till ett bubbelbad. This is a small one-person operation which suited us just fine since we were just staying for a night. One of the members of our party got locked out of his room at 5.30 am (the rooms are auto-lock and we had an early start), and the staff in charge was very helpful even though we had to wake her up at that ungodly hour to help :)

This place is truly a sanctuary of peace and pure nature. We arrived in the early afternoon, walking up a stone path, which was not a problem having light bags. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we immediately felt like being in paradise - the great valley views, forest, and small river. The room was super nice with wooden furniture, a comfy bed, a large outdoor lounge and a hammock. Later, we had a refreshing swim in the natural pool surrounded by forest. Dinner was great as well, really fresh and well combined local cuisine. In the night, we watched fireflies and bats buzzing around with sounds of frogs and crickets. It was nicely cool, and we even had the windows open to enjoy the sounds and have a breeze. Surprisingly, there were not many mosquitos due to the higher altitude. We highly recommend staying a few days more, which we will do when coming next time.

The treehouse is amazing - we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! I can highly recommend staying here. The property was really peaceful and relaxing. We wish we had more time to spend here and explore the lovely garden.

Sira's Chalets ligger vid stranden. Här bor du i ett luftkonditionerat chalet med terrass, havsutsikt och gratis Wi-Fi. We loved our time at Sira Chalet in Mirissa! The location is unbeatable—literally right on the beach, so morning swims and sunset views were just steps away. The beach itself is gorgeous and never felt crowded. A huge thank-you to our host, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He even arranged a car for our ride back to Colombo, which made the trip home stress-free. Great vibe, perfect setting, and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend!

Top of the mountain .just walking distance from the beach (200m). My wife was doing yoga at the garden .it was really comfortable place . Private parking , Garden ,private bathroom and kitchen . The Hidden Treehouse is a charming and unique place to stay! Surrounded by nature, there is so much to discover, just in front of your door. The garden is outstandingly beautiful, waking up with the sounds of birds and many other jungle creatures, we loved staying in this tiny beautiful house! Sadeepa and his family took such good care of us and couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely, caring and kind. The breakfast they made every morning was our highlight! Delicious authentic Sri Lankan food made with so much love! Thank you for everything! We truly recommend!
