The very kind owner said goodbye to us like a true hostess – walking us to the door and even giving us a lovely souvenir for the journey. Highly recommended, especially for couples seeking peace away from the big city.

The family running the hotel is very friendly. Nice location in between Palenque and Yaxchilan temples. Very good food for dinner. Beautiful cabaña overlooking Lago Tziscao. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in during my long trip. Staff helped us arrange a moto taxi and our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable and catered the tour for us. I would happily stay here again. Thanks to everyone

Located just 8 km from the Palenque Archaeologican Zone and 1 km from Palenque town, Hotel Cabañas Safari offers an outdoor pool and a traditional Temazcal steam bath. It was like a resort but very quiet. The swimming pool was warm and amazing. There were a lot of birds and the Hammocks on the patios were excellent. Breakfast was ok. Taking a bus to town and the bus station was very simple. The handsome manager was pleasant and helpful. Taking a tour Bus (Otisa) from San Cristobal de las casas to Palenque was the way to go, safe and affordable and when you are done the 3 stop tour of the waterfalls and Palenque Pyramids have them drop you off on the road in front at Cabana Safari, it really is an oasis and you will not be disappointed. Be sure to have snacks with you. Careful with the Taxi Drivers and know your prices. Be sure to visit Christian at the Monopoly Drink very near the town square, his drinks are amazing and very exquisite and unique.

Located in the Lacandon jungle setting in Palenque, this resort is a 5 minute drive to the Archeological Zone of Palenque. A 60 km drive from Cascadas Agua Azul Natural Park. Great swimming pool and very nice garden, very conviniently located, close to the ruins and the zoo
