Beautiful and relaxing spot, very clean, it was a bit chilly at night but the hosts gave us extra blankets. The hosts are just amazing! They recommended some tours for the family (which were great!) and took care of everything, dropped us off and picked us up. We also had homemade diner there which was really great! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. This lodge exceeded our expectations. Amazing meals. Beautiful wild setting. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent guided tours (our guide Uriel was magnificent and fabulous at spotting wildlife.) The boat trips along the rivers were surreal, especially the morning breakfast boat out to see the wild parrots on the clay licks. The pickup and luggage storage services were added bonuses. This definitely requires a three night stay (which we did) 4 nights would have been out of this world.

Refugio Amazonas Lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation in the Tambopata National Reserve. The property features a restaurant, and some rooms include WiFi access. Excellent organization and magical location. The guides are exceptional.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. My experience was excellent. The staff were always very kind and helpful, and the pool and facilities were very well maintained and spotlessly clean. In addition, their cocktails and food were truly delicious.

An outdoor swimming pool with views of the river can be enjoyed in Wasai Puerto Maldonado Eco Lodge, 100 meters from the Main Square. Canoe trips can be booked and all rooms feature views of the... The hotel location id perfect. Just in the city centre next to the river so the views are spectacular. I had a room in the new building on the third floor with a balcony and the views of the Amazon are beautiful. We booked all our trips in the Main Street next to the hotel and haven’t had the time to relax in the pool that looked tempting. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned on a daily basis’. The only things that bothered me: the beds are just ok, pilot can be updated and the curtains don’t block the light in the morning .
