This was a really cute place to stay. It is run by a family who are great at communication and have their own boat to pick you up and take you to town. They were extremely friendly and made sure they all came to pick us up and to drop us off. They also offer dinner that is affordable and they bring it to your room. They offer a tour that takes you to one of the islands on Uros where they show you how the islands are made and have hand made crafts you can purchase. There was no WiFi when we went, BUT there was cell service so we’re able to use our phones and even download a movie on Netflix. Overall it was a great experience!

We wanted to spend our night on the lake, in a possibly authentic way. Raúl and his wife did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Although we had little time, we could get an insight into the life of the people living on the floating islands, Raúl showed us around in his boat. While it can get really cold on the lake, our beds were warm. Dinner and breakfast was very nice as well.

It was a very lovely stay at this home stay. Owners are very nice couple who took a good care of our group. They picked us up, prepared breakfast and let us rest after the long journey. Overall the stay was so comfortable and nice.

Walter and his family were so welcoming and kind. The food was fantastic, the view was amazing, and the stay was so relaxing. I wish we had stayed longer.

Vip Flotante ligger 4,6 km fra Estadio Enrique Torres Belón og tilbyder indkvartering med gårdhave. Lina and Leonardo are wonderful people and so was the stay with them in their floating hotel. The place is just breathtaking and worth every minute spent there. We only had a late evening and had to leave early in the morning so were worried if it makes sense to have a night on the lake - ended up on a romantic sunset boat ride towards the room as Lina picked us up, had a wonderful view from the room of the opposite hills and then very nice homemade dinner with the family. In the morning Lina made pancakes for us and with a foggy sunrise she dropped us back to the port. I recommend this special experience to everyone visiting Puno! Of course it's not a 5* hotel, but you will remember it 1000x more.
