This was a really cute place to stay. It is run by a family who are great at communication and have their own boat to pick you up and take you to town. They were extremely friendly and made sure they all came to pick us up and to drop us off. They also offer dinner that is affordable and they bring it to your room. They offer a tour that takes you to one of the islands on Uros where they show you how the islands are made and have hand made crafts you can purchase. There was no WiFi when we went, BUT there was cell service so we’re able to use our phones and even download a movie on Netflix. Overall it was a great experience!

What an indescribable stay at the Uros Utasa Lodge on Lake Titicaca. I can only give this lodge top marks because Raul gave us an unforgettable day. After he picked us up at the pier, we travelled through the reed belt on his boat. Even here he gave us an insight into what the reeds are used for. You could see that Raul is passionate about this area and enjoyed passing on his knowledge. After driving past so many huts, the surprise was all the greater! A paradise for a day! We enjoyed the afternoon on the deckchair and Raul and his wife also prepared dinner on request. Simply recommended!!!

Το TITICACA JALTAWI LODGE διαθέτει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, κήπο, βεράντα και παροχές για υδάτινα σπορ, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Στάδιο Enrique Torres Belon απέχει 4,6 χλμ. I liked literally everything. The place is made with such love and attention for the details that it impresses. I have to say that the pictures of the room with big white bed are worse then what it is in reality. You have full glass wall right to the lake with no obstacles. Also everything is so clean as if no human was there before. There is a proper hot water but the pressure is not strong enough to wash out soap out of the long hair but not the big deal as long as there is a warm shower. We were given a million blankets (I counted it was 7) not to get cold at night and there was also a gaz heater that we could use for a bit. The cherry on top of the cake was that before the night time Wilson brought us two warmers filled with hot and it was an amazingly sweet gesture. Also Wilson out us prior check in to the excursion to the big island to see how local people live and it so much worth it. It was so educational interesting and with awesome lunch with fresh fish and quinoa ect. Wilson’s family also cooked for us and you have to let them know in advance if you are picky with something. But on the day of departure they made a fish for us with some side dishes. Wilson picks you up with the boat at the port and takes you back. And can also assist with the taxi from and to the port. It was around 20 soles one way. Wilson gave us a private excursion and explained about the life on the island and we got the chance to see how families live there . There were no other tourists there at that time of a day, so felt very special and educational. I loved it. We also were given kayak free of charge to wonder around . I checked with kayak some other villas in the area and nothing was as nice as how Wilson did it. They kept an authentic experience with lux touch. They also have a dog that will be happy to see you every time and cats and there were even kittens.

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

This lodge is amazing. Juan and his wife were wonderfully hospitable. They did everything to make our stay perfect. One of the best parts of our trip to Peru. The food is fantastic and the trips on the lake were wonderful and Juan told us all about life on the lake for the Uros people. We don’t want to leave. Sunny during the day and cold at night. The comfiest beds with loads of blankets and hot water bottles.

The hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious. Our room provided an amazing view. The tour around the lake organized by the host was very educational and interesting. We met local people and learned a few words on their language. The hosts answered all our requests. Everything was fabulous.
