Incredible people that would organize so much for you. Very good food, transportation and they also arranged for us to join an island tour. The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

Amazing room at Titicaca Lake at sea level 4000 meters. Uf, very peaceful and quiet, amazing sunset. But, very cold during the night. You can have a gas heater all night but we switched it off and it was really cold during the night and morning. Just to know before where you go. But the place and the breakfast was amazing.

This was a fantastic experience where we were welcomed into Mama Lea and Papa Mario’s home and we got to experience what living on a floating island was like. Communication was great - we were picked up at the bus terminal and taken to the pier to take the boat to their home. We enjoyed Papa Mario’s tour of Uros Island where he showed us what life was like for him - he showed us how important the reeds were to his family and how they used it in everyday life. The dinner was nice and fresh and lots of rugs and hot water bottles provided to keep us warm at night. Make sure you bring enough cash. In addition to the room, there is 80 soles boat transfer cost, 35 soles for dinner, and money for drinks and any tours you may want to do. We got lucky to arrive before the rain and Walter welcomed us warmly! The location is fabulous. Expect cold during the night :-) thank you Walter for the hospitality and the boat tour.

Ordnade hämtning/lämning/transport för oss trots att vi anlände sent på kvällen. Hade även ordnat mat till oss när vi anlände

Amalia Titicaca Lodge ligger i Puno och erbjuder boende med utsikt över staden samt en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. An amazing unique experience, would definitely recommend! It was super cool to stay so close to nature, yet in a really comfortable conditions. The hotel staff was super nice to us and even organized a private tour of the Uros island for no extra charge! Keep in mind that the meeting point with boat is not the main port of Puno, but a smaller Kalapajra port. Be sure to text them in advance to confirm the meeting point and arrival time for the boat to pick you up without delays.
