Cozy and stylish place, very comfortable bed. 10 min by car to the city center (Piata Operei). You can get there by bike ( the owners have some bikes in the backyard).

Casa Bunica - Vila Rustică cu Prispă Experiență Românească Autentică lângă Pârâu în Natura Loc Joaca Copii Oaza de Liniște offre un alloggio con patio a Vama Măgura. Beautiful location and house. It's an ideal starting point with car to hike around Retezat. Groceries and restaurants are a 15-20 min drive. The house is suitable for a maximum of 6 person (3 beds). Two beds in two rooms upstairs and one bed downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. The terrace is a lovely place to be at peace.

The reception from the guests who are really involved in local rural businesses was excellent. They waited for as we were late for our expected arrival.

CabanA-lupu si trova a Făget. Questo chalet offre un giardino, il barbecue, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito. It’s been the best accommodation in Romania we have ever tried! We stayed in an amazing wooden cottage with a wellness wood-heated hot tub just in front of the cottage. Inside there was everything you need even for a longer stay (in our case 7 nights in the end) - an extremely efficient wood-burning stove, lots of wood prepared in front of the cottage (they added some more later), a completely furnished kitchen, an upper-floor bedroom with a balcony overlooking the lake, a big comfortable sofa, exceptionally good-quality drinking water, hot water both in the kitchen and in the bathroom, a TV with YouTube access and external speakers for better TV sound. We need to highlight the hospitality of the whole host family. The owner’s parents came every third day to ask if everything was ok. Moreover, we were given Romanian locals products and two pizzas for free in a nearby pizzeria (In the village Fardea). Even if we stayed there during quite a tough winter time, we felt like at home. Both us and our beloved golden retriever enjoyed such an exceptional stay! Highly recommended! ❤️

Con vista sulla montagna, Elysium House mette a disposizione un alloggio dotato di terrazza e patio, a circa 47 km da Iron Gate I. Everything was above our expectations. The hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us useful insights and advice which helped us have a memorable stay. The location is in the middle of the nature where only the birds can be heard. The house is very clean, with a beautiful design created in such a way to match the surroundings. On the shelves we also found books and local touristic guide magazines which were very welcomed since they can’t be found any-longer (the touristic info point in the city was closed down 😐) In the vicinity there are many hiking trails, two of them departing from the parking in front if the house (Vanturatoarea and Sfanta Maria waterfalls)

Con vista sulla montagna, Holiday House Valiug mette a disposizione un alloggio dotato di giardino e terrazza, a circa 48 km da Izvorul Bigar. We felt right at home here. It's a very well equipped house with a lovely garden and space for barbecue. Perfect to enjoy with friends or family. It's super cosy, it has lots of personal touches and attention to detail to make you feel right at home. The owners are very lovely and understanding. They left lots of supplies for us to ensure a smooth experience with everything, from coffee pods, to toiletries and barbecue coal. There's much more I could write about our positive experience here.

Cassa-Grande si trova a Bozovici e propone WiFi gratuito, giardino, sala comune e terrazza. I was very happy with this accommodation. It is very comfortable,has own bathroom with toilet and fully equiped shared kitchen. It is close to the supermarket and bakery. The communication with the owner is smooth and she is really helpful. The accommodation is clean and well maintaned. When I am in this area again,I book a room here again. Thank you for caring for me.

Cabana Vărad Coronini si trova a Moldova Veche e propone il WiFi gratuito, un giardino con terrazza e la vista sul giardino. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Cozy and clean room in nice, peaceful surroundings, overlooking fileds, river and mountains. There was a kitchen with free coffee which was perfect for the morning. The hosts were really nice.
