We were offered a very tasty and generous dinner and breakfast, that the host made herself. I would definitely recommend for those who are fond of the wilderness and would like to experience excellent Romanian hospitality.

The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

The hosts were very kind, they wait me on arrival with cakes :). The property is located close to Retezat National Park, so that around there are many activities to do. The yard of the property is also a nice place to relax or barbecue.
