Very clean and spacious bungalow. Well-equipped, the kitchen equipment is new, towels and linen - fresh and fragrant. The spacious terrace overlooking the tropical garden and turtle pen is wonderful. Although there are several other bungalows on the property, their location and the lush garden make you not feel the presence of other guests. The hosts are very warm and nice - you can ask them at any time. There is also a washing machine that you can use to do your laundry. As for the location, the property is actually right next to the beach, just cross the street (quite busy). The beach is nice, but the sea is quite shallow, it is better to go to another beach (e.g. 10 minutes by bus to Anse Royal). A well-equipped supermarket is right next door, open every day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Two fruit stalls are about 400 meters from the house, open from the morning. Bus stops are very close, buses run quite often in both directions. We recommend this kind of transport, you can get almost everywhere. The ticket card can be purchased or topped up anywhere (e.g. at a supermarket nearby), one ride costs 10 rupees  Right next to it there is a craft village where you can buy handicrafts, and a 15-minute walk away - the distillery of the most famous Takamaka rum, which you can visit and take part in a rum rasting. There are several restaurants and takeaways nearby, but honestly - we won't recommend anything, because generally the food here is expensive or very expensive, and the taste is very average.

Situated along the sandy beach of Anse Forbans in Takamaka, Chalets d'Anse Forbans offers self-catering bungalows with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. I loved the Chalets so much. It is truly paradise, right on the beach in a beautiful garden of palm trees. The location is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. You can hear the waves at night and birds singing in the morning. The chalets are big, clean, the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had a great time. Definitely recommend.

Very friendly host Lise, who invited us for a beautiful last night dinner! It is a lovely hidden place in the mountains, but needs a car to reach and go to the beach!

The villa was impeccably maintained and fully equipped with all necessary amenities, including utensils, glassware, and other thoughtful touches that made the stay feel like home. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality provided by the host, Ms. Debi. From the moment we arrived, she extended a warm and personal welcome, even greeting us by name at check-in, a gesture that made us feel truly valued and at ease. She was attentive, approachable, and always ready to assist with anything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others seeking a memorable and comfortable stay.

We had everything and didn't miss anything. In reality even more beautiful than in the pictures. Quiet accommodation in nature in a more non-touristy part of the island. Beautiful beaches nearby, lots of locals and no crowds or noise. Lots of shops, fruit and fish vendors nearby.
