The property is non-smoking and is located 19 km from Kiruna Bus Station. Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

Amazing cabin with a stunning view.

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced ingredients. 2 km away from us you can find Abisko national park and the Aurora Sky Station. From Abisko Mountain Lodge you have several different trails you can do day hikes

In the lounge bar you can sit and relax in front of the fireplace. Cozy oasis. Activities next door. Walk to open areas and train. Lounge/bar with fire. Nice meals.

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. Quiet and cosy stay in the lapland.  It's equipped with a great wood sauna.  Breakfast was nice at their teepee style lodge.  We also had free access to the nearby Sami museum in Jukkasjärvi, which was very interesting and informative.

Esrange Space Center is 21 km from Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins, while LKAB Visitor Centre is 24 km away. Kiruna Airport is 17 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Camp Caroli is located in Jukkasjärvi, 15 minutes from Kiruna, it has everything you could want from a camp, new, warm, super equipped and well furnished cabins in a simple way as befits Lappland as well as a priceless view of the lake, the camp is oriented to the north so if the sky is clear you can chase the Northern Lights directly in the garden without having to move, but the strong point is the owner Stefan, friendly and very nice. If you go there in winter Stefan himself organizes snowmobile and husky dog ​​safaris so if you are looking for a place to stay in Swedish Lapland this is the place for you!

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Main disclaimer is you absolutely need a car to stay here. If you are not renting a car, stay closer to town. We had a car and intentionally booked a place outside of town that would give us greater visibility of the aurora. The location of this property is unlike any other. You can go on hikes to see the lights at all hours of the night and you get 360 degree views of the sky if you walk out onto the lake. The wilderness left cabin was equipped with everything we could ever need. Warm, comfortable beds, great shower facility and best of all was our private sauna. The staff was extremely helpful when we struggled making a fire for the sauna. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return someday!
