Our family had a wonderful stay at Utupoa. After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

The food served was delicious with a variety of options that satisfied my taste buds. A big advantage is the location of the hotel, just 1 minute from the beach, which made access to the sea extremely convenient. Mambo Cabana is certainly an excellent choice for a holiday getaway.
