I stayed in Ananda beach hotel 3 nights and I wish I booked a longer stay. The hotel is super cozy and clean , the staff are super friendly and super helpful starting from Mr T who was welcoming us to Thomas and Shedy as well .. breakfast was nice and don’t forget to have your snacks, lunch and dinner at hello capitano restaurant.. highly recommended and definitely I will be back once I am in Zanzibar

Everything about this hotel was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and made our entire stay feel very personable. The breakfast and dinners were delicious with plenty of options, and the additional hotel-organised beach dinners with entertainment, village tours etc. were a really nice touch. The villa was stunning, very spacious and clean, and felt very luxurious with the personal pool and lounge areas. The location was great - right on the beach and close walk to some great beach bars / restaurants. Highly recommend!

With Matemwe Beach reachable in a few steps, Utupoa provides accommodation, a restaurant, free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. A wonderful cozy and friendly place to stay. The shared meals were such a nice addition after traveling and eating solo. The staff are so attentive and friendly. It’s clean and has everything you need, including amazing meals by the chef. It’s also literally right on the beach, the water comes up to the doorstep making swimming very convenient. I highly recommend!

Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar. This boutique resort is a must visit for anyone traveling to Zanzibar. The rooms are perfect for any couple visiting, with private water closet, rain head showers that are roomy and spacious. Beds are comfortable with mosquito netting; the staff offers mosquito spraying and turndown service every night. There are TVs and small refrigerators in the rooms, with fresh water provided daily for guests. We have a partial ocean view which features a small dip pool/tub, private chairs for sunbathing as well as chairs on the small patio. By all means, upgrade to the partial ocean view - it’s worth it. There is also a large infinity pool for guests to use if you do not want to upgrade to private settings. Our visit included the full all-inclusive package, which was an added cost, but was well worth it. All non-alcoholic, waters, coffees, and as well the alcoholic drinks and meals are included with the package, try the sangria!! I must also add, compliments to the chef, the meals were always delicious. Breakfast and lunch are a permanent menu, while the dinner menu is a rotating menu and changes nightly keeping the palette entertained. Some nights featured live music during dinner as well. Finally, the staff was amazing, from conversation to providing the best service, organizing excursions and taxis, kudos to this whole boutique resort. We will be back one day!

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Unlike many places on the island, the cosy atmosphere here has been preserved. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The food was always great — and the cocktails were next level :) We were almost crying when we were leaving…
