We had a wonderful stay at Ndlovu Addo River Lodge. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, right on the Sundays River, with nature all around — birds, monkeys and a real sense of calm. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and thoughtfully set up for self-catering, with lovely little touches that made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Being so close to Addo Elephant National Park made it an ideal base for game drives, while still feeling private and tucked away. The eco-friendly, semi off-grid setup worked perfectly and meant no disruption from load-shedding. Overall, a genuinely special place — tranquil, well-run and excellent value. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

Located 200 metres from Owl House Museum, Furrows Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Ever heard of Nieu-Bethesda, the owl house? We were very pleased to eventually visit Nieu-Bethesda, even more so when we arrived at Furrows Lodge. The room (outside) was spacious and well equipped. The setting is in and amongst trees, tranquil. Swimming pool and braai facilities are also available. Try "Die Waenhuis" Restaurant for a meal (part of Furrows Lodge). Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Anglers Paradise was amazing from the start, Noel the owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and loved the area and Noel introduced us to the various other outings on his amazing, beautiful farm. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you very much.

This place is wonderful: in the middle of beautiful nature, the luxury tents are very comfortable and clean, breakfast and dinner was lovely, … The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional, we’ve had the warmest welcome here. This is the perfect choice if you want to visit Addo Elephant Park and enjoy a wonderful time in nature.
