This establishment exceeded our expectations, from friendly staff to beautiful, spacious, modern, and very clean units. A nice restaurant on site, and the breakfast the next morning was very good. Staff were very friendly and trained. We will definitely visit here again.

From the moment we entered Babohi, we were blown away by the exceptional level of hospitality that was shown to us. As soon as we checked in, we were asked to select a scent for the duration of our stay - such a thoughtful and unique touch that made us feel like the experience at Babohi was going to be very personalised and very high-end. The accommodation was so incredibly opulent. Aside from the stunning decor, we could tell there were so many thoughtful touches in order to elevate the experience even further. The views of the reserve from the room were also unbelievable! The food and drink were outstanding. Each meal was thoughtfully curated and prepared as well as being incredibly tasty. We very much appreciated the service that went along with the meals too. The chefs and the staff are clearly very committed to providing the best possible experience for guests during meal times. Bravo! The game drives were the absolute highlight of our stay. Damian is an exceptional guide - he is not only very knowledgeable, but he has a clear passion for conservation, the wildlife and the ecosystem. Damian offered incredible insight into the wildlife and was also very persistent in uncovering where the wildlife may be hiding (especially as we were there while it was pouring with rain). No request was too much, and no question was too silly. Each drive was unique and we saw something different each time. Also, a big thank you to Damian for getting us out of the reserve in time for our international flight - the rain had caused some difficulty with the roads but we managed to get to Johannesburg in time. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was completely luxurious, seamless and memorable. The team is committed to excellence and we cannot thank them enough for such a fantastic stay. Other luxury hotels etc. could learn a thing or two from the Babohi team. If anyone asks for recommendations in South Africa, I will point them in this direction.

The most friendly and helpful staff. Food was exceptional, room comfortable and had everything you need. Big shout out to Patrick, our Game Guide. Went over and above to make our game drives the most amazing experience. We have been on dozens of game drives over the years and these were up there with the best. The park is big so you experience a real safari, rather than a controlled zoo like experience. You have to work hard to find the animals, but when you do it makes the experience so much better. Patrick's knowledge was exceptional, not only about the animals, but also trees, habitats and African culture. Can't wait to return.

Το MILIMA Big 5 Safari Lodge βρίσκεται σε Hoedspruit και είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο. It was pure understated elegance and a wonderful experience. The food and the staff were amazing. Every day was different: outdoor braai, elegant dinner, casual lunch .. etc. We tried Kudu and Ostrich and local dishes like Bobooti. It was lovely. Pool is lovely and overlooking a waterhole where elephants would always gather. Safari drives weee excellent. We saw hippo and buffalo and lions and elephants and giraffes and water hog and rhino and zebra and kudu and impala and baboon and crocodile … only thing we didn’t spot was the leopard. Will definitely come again. Staff were incredible too.

Absolutely exceptional, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - the team did everything to make us feel welcome on their lovely property. Cant really fault anything from the room, the cleanliness of the property and facilities, the food was outstanding in the restaurant. The team took a special effort to take us down the road to see a pride of lions on an adjacent property, and we took a lovely game walk one morning. Did I mention the staff :0) - the team at Sunbirds are what makes this stay super special, from the owner to the security, from the restaurant staff to the cleaners, I honestly haven't felt hospitality like this in a long long time Couple of constructive feedback thoughts........... Breakfast seemed to arrive to the buffet over the course of an hour, not a major issue but was slightly inconvenient on the last day when we needed to leave dead on 8am. On the day we arrived to breakfast 9am breakfast was cold - I guess you need to time it right - but that's being super picky, the choice was fantastic and the food was tasty. Seems like a missed opportunity not to have a sofa bed on the living area in the premium room - we'd have been perfectly happy to have one room for 2 adults/1 kid rather than 2. Also, need blinds or curtains for the upstairs windows considering the thunder storms during the winter lit up the bedroom.
