It was very luxurious, with lots of space! It was relatively easy to check in, and the staff were extremely helpful. The accommodation is mainly self-catering with lots of restaurants surrounding the area.

The tented accommodation was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, blending into the surrounding landscape while still feeling like a high-end suite. Inside, the large bed was as plush and comfortable as any five-star hotel, complete with crisp linens and cozy throws. The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease – though, truth be told, we spent most of our time cooking outside. The outdoor braai area was perfect.and the wood-fired hot tub was the cherry on top – perfect for unwinding under the stars with a glass of wine in hand. The best part? The wildlife. From the comfort of our deck, we watched ostriches strut by, zebras grazing in the distance, and waterbuck meandering through the bush. It was like having our own personal safari without ever leaving the tent. This is glamping at its finest – all the immersion of the wilderness with none of the roughing it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The staff has been exceptional and well trained, super helpful and friendly. A proper warm South African welcome. The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the pool and garden. We had an absolutely lovely time at the semi-off grid cabins. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Letamo is a beautiful property, just 3 hours from Johannesburg. Everything - the rooms, the food, the staff and service, the ambiance, the services including the game drives and spa and padel courts - were all exceptional. We went for my husband’s birthday and they made it so special without me even asking. All staff were informed and went the extra mile. A special thanks to Lerato at dining and Hloni the game drive guide who were the best!

Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 7 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Muunga Bush Lodge is in a very unique location in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. I could sit by the pool and watch birds fly by or, nyala and warthogs wonder by. There are nice walking trails that take you to waterholes with hides for viewing animals. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners my entire stay. The Lodge and outside areas are beautifully decorated. There are a number of local magazines, bird and animals books available for reading. I definitely recommend Muunga if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
