I visites à lot of places on my life but I never felt home as I felt on this place , special thanks to the Chef and his son also the perfect waitresses , rooms and beds was perfectly clean and a wonderful view to the garden and the mountain , people was soooooo nice and so welcoming. we will come back thanks chef for the great food

The hostess, Eli, is the sweetest lady. She lives in the hostel, so she's easily reachable. Eli is also excited to meet new people from around the world. She made time to take me to local festivities and snowshoeing, served me homemade sweets, and introduced me to the locals. It was true hospitality and kindness. I got upgraded to the suite room but got to see the full hostel. It is clean and new. I particularly liked the heated floors in my room. The suite had a washer and dishwasher, too. The folks in the town were super friendly. The hostel is right next to the bus stop, which was very convenient when arriving from Vienna. The bus dropped me off right at the hostel. The town is surrounded by mountains and scenic views. You'll see the river Drava, and a smaller one a bit farther away. The town is not at a high altitude, so there isn't a lot of snow or clouds. But you'll find that up in the mountains, a short drive away. There were a few days when a light jacket was enough to walk around town, in December. There is wifi in the hostel and at the cafe right across the road from the hostel. Everything is within walking distance... the grocery store, a small park, restaurants, cafes, ATM, etc.

Everything was great! Beautiful location and good service and good food. I would definitely recommend this place if one wanted to visit this part of Slovenia.

I was made very welcome by Maria, Stanko and family. I loved the peace and quiet of the place. I had a really relaxing time and everything was fantastic. I am looking forward to my next stay here in the near future. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍😁😁😁

The breakfast was very good, more than enough. Dinner was available if I wanted it in the restaurant. The family atmosphere and children were very nice and welcoming. Sylke was helpful with anything I needed.
