Our stay at the hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The receptionist, a delightful woman whose name unfortunately slipped my mind, gave us the warmest of welcomes upon our arrival. The hosts met us at Lubbenau Railway station and took us to the property, They spoke English and were very helpful. We found the accommodation perfect for our short stay. The holiday home was very well equipped and was very clean. The added bonus was the swimming pool! It was brilliant to have a swim on the hot sunny day while we were there. The location is ideal to explore the Spreewald either on foot or by bike. There were several bikes to choose from. The harbour, old town and supermarket were all within walking distance. When we left, the hosts took us back to the station. These lifts were very much appreciated.
