John and Chantal made our last minute stay at their home an exceptionally peaceful experience. It isn't too far (an hour's drive) from the port at Ouistreham (Caen) so was perfect to stop in given our late arrival there. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have experienced (softer mattresses than I would normally use but everything was very fine). Wet room shower was immaculately presented and did its job very well. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying with delicious coffee, breads and pastries. My children asked if they could stay longer than one night and they're quite fussy!

Susan is a wonderful hospitable hostess, and her house is tasteful, warm, and welcoming. Great breakfast, great bed and shower, and a piece of heaven in shape of a crêperie just across the street. Perfect for our stop over on the way to Bretagne.

nice and spacious. good for getting onto the road system to see the sights. well placed for all the main places we wanted to visit. good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. nice and near a good sized town with all the shops you could need.
