The house is on the east coast of Penida.We enjoyed the view of sunrise in the morning,it was wonderful. The stuff are very kind. Also we can walk to Suwehan Beach from the house and there are many monkeys on the way to beach.:) Although it's far from the port but I I highly recommend it.

The location is near the dining beach only 10 mins driving. The staff is extremely nice. The Wi-Fi is very effective.

Place is beautiful and secluded, best place to connect with nature and your loved one. Every corner is decorated so well and staff is really nice and takes good care of you. Specially the person who got us our dinner etc was the kindest and deserves lot more appreciation. HE also took us around diamond beach, tree house etc next day which was really sweet of him.

We had a wonderful time at Mahendra Cottage! We chose this location because it is close to Diamond Beach / Atuh Beach and because of the reviews about the exceptional hosts - which proved to be entirely true! The owners were so wecoming and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. They waited for us with a fresh coconut which was so nice of them after our long trip. Moreover, they offered us to taste some of their homemade deserts and traditional food. Even if google maps shows a long distance to Diamond Beach, this is in fact 25 minutes walking distance from the bungalow - thanks to the owner who showed us a short cut! After our journey to the beach, we enjoyed a good dinner at the bungalow, cooked by the owner herself. We opted for the grilled fish which was cooked in a traditional manner, and bought some of the local beers to cool down. Really delicious! Important to note is that you can pay by card at the location, which is great because in Nusa Penida there are only few ATMs (1 hour away from Mahendra cottage). In the morning we woke up to see the sunrise from our bungalow terrace, which was so worth it even if a bit cloudy! Then we had a tasty breakfast where we had several options to choose from - both me and my boyfriend had the omlet which was very good! Overall we had such a great time, that we wanted to extend our stay if we had more time. I definitely recommend the place to other tourists!

Meticulously maintained, jungle like setting, clean and cozy room, very friendly and helpful owners. Food was excellent too. Too bad our stay was only overnight.
