The cosiness of the property. Very nostalgic 90's feel, in a good way. Host Catherine was lovely and at hand whenever I had a question. The location was great. Ample parking. Warm house. Amazing shower. Beautiful scones. Cosy beds and very well equipped.

Everything! Everything you could ever need is provided, such a cosy atmosphere so so nice. Central to Achill island. Nice quiet area. A lovely friendly dog too! Highly recommended. The host went above and beyond for us, had the stove lighting for up which was very welcome. The little extras around the place did not go unnoticed. A fantastic magical place ✨️ ❤️

The host was extremely kind and waited up for us considering how late we arrived, they showed us into the building and she was very kind at offering some local tips as well as key bits of info about the house and where we could find everything.

Perfect setting and a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Pet friendly and our dog loved it. Comfortable and clean beds and the living area was very cosy with a great big sofa, lots of cushions and blankets. Lovely open fire and some turf and fire wood included. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed in there. Washing machine, dishwasher etc worked perfectly and tablets were provided. A lovely welcome pack greeted us including wine and chocolate. The dinning table provided a nice setting for the times we chose to cook and eat in - local butchers is very good! Pure Magic restaurant is a short walk up the road if you fancy a glass of wine with some delicious pizza. Inside looked lovey - very quirky and cosy - and if like us you have a dog, the outdoor eating area was lovely too. Many great walks starting from the cottage. Mehdi our host was very attentive and communicated well throughout. The cottage is in a pleasant quiet location but close to Keel town, shops and restaurants. Only a short drive to 3 of Achill’s blue flag beaches. Fabulous views down to the sea and cliffs on one side and with the mountains on the other and with gorgeous white horses in the fields alongside. The view from the bath was so relaxing and with the velux window it was almost like you were bathing outside - still private though! Nice outdoor seating areas and grassy slopes for kids and dog to play on. Good value for money. We loved it; had a very relaxing stay and hope to return!
