Beautiful stay with the family. Pool was very cold though. Without a car the bus journey was around 40 minutes into Florence. But going through the small villages was very pretty. Would definitely stay there again.

If you want the place near the town, and also the silence and peace, this is the place for you! The hosts are friendly and helpful! We had a feeling that we are wisting the family. Also, we brought our dog and she had the best holiday ever. Absolutely we will come back!

It is a large, ultra-clean apartment in a villa, about 20 minutes' drive from Michelangelo's plaza in Florence, where you can park your car and go sightseeing. Despite being next to a relatively busy local road, the apartment is very quiet and peaceful. Its location also means that it's much easier to get into the car and go south - explore the picturesque Chianti Valley with its many lovely towns (Siena being so much nicer than Florence - sorry, Firenze 😎). The bathroom is huge and really comfortable, and the kitchen is cozy and well-equipped. Plus, the owner, Veronica, is really helpful and responded in a few minutes to any questions we had.

The best thing about staying here is the host family. They were super attentive, friendly, warm and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Best experience!!! They make amazing olive oil and delicious wine on the property which we got to taste. It’s also about two miles from the little town of Antella with restaurants, shops and great hair stylist at Papillon hair salon. There is also a winery, within walking distance, that offers winery tours, lunch/dinner tastings etc. The apartment was clearly well taken care of and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals and they also offer a breakfast option for a small fee. You could easily spend a week here just relaxing and enjoying the quiet local scene.
