Honestly, everything was awesome and I cannot complain about anything. Definitely can’t find something of this quality for this price. The area is safe. Everything is super clean. The staff are beyond friendly. We were so grateful after a full day of travel overnight. If we ever come back to Bogota, we will definitely stay again.

The room was spacious and well equipped, reflecting our request for a quiet location. Reception staff and the porter were friendly and receptive to all requests. As we know very little Spanish, it was reassuring that staff at the front desk and the restaurant made efforts to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fruit, local dishes, and eggs made to order. The hotel has a nice gym and is located within easy walking distance to Usaquen and its Sunday artisan market.

It is always a pleasure to stay here at the Hotel Estelar Parque de la 93. Very clean, modern, and very-well located in a safe area. A lot of restaurants at walking distance. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Jhon helped us really well. We had to leave for the airport at 4:30 in the morning. He made a reservation to have Van (4 adults with large luggages) pick us up on time. He also made sure we get breakfast boxes to-go so we don't miss out on the breakfast that was included with our booking, again at 4:30 in the morning!! He even offered to give us a call to make sure we woke up for our flight. What a service! It was our second time here and won't be our last. The hotel Estelar Parque de la 93 is highly recommended. Easily a 10 out of 10 stay in Bogotá.

We had the opportunity to spend 18 days in Colombia, where we discovered incredibly beautiful places, met people with big hearts, and stayed in accommodations that were very affordable, safe, clean, and friendly. We also savored the absolutely delicious Colombian food. It is a paradise that offers something for every taste. Colombia's Gold Museum offers numerous treasures, beauties, stories, and exhibitions that showcase the cultural, human, historical, and spiritual richness of the Colombian people. Our suggestion: visit it! The Colombians we encountered on the streets, in shops, and in restaurants were very friendly and attentive to our needs as tourists. Bogotá is an excellent starting point for visiting nearby places such as the Guatavita Lagoon, the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá, and Jaime Duque Park. Thank you for your hospitality.

Bogota is a huge city with many different areas.

Bogota is a huge city with many different areas. The old city is attractive for its colonial buildings and there are some amazing museums, including the Museo de Oro and the Museo Botero. There are also some great places associated with the recent history of Colombia and its search for peace and reconciliation after years of conflict. Two that stand out are the art installation "Fragmentos" by the artist Doris Salcedo, made from tonnes of melted down firearms handed into the UN after the Peace Accords, and the microbrewery and cultural centre, the Casa de la,Paz. There are other parts of the city that are more green, quieter and suburban, with more modern shops and facilities. Like any huge capital city it has its downsides of traffic, air pollution and places where you need to keep your wits about you as there is bound to be some street crime (though none we saw). Bogota deserves to be visited as any part of a visit to Colombia.

Bogotá is under construction.

Bogotá is under construction. They are building the Metro line (that is over the street not under it) so expect lots of traffic and streets under heavy construction. detours, changes of direction, places where you cannot get easily. Just keep in mind that moving across the city is more difficult now. Wont last forever.

Beyond the hostel, Bogotá captivated me with its vibrant cultural soul. Wandering through La Candelaria was like stepping back in time; its colonial streets, colourful balconies, and hidden plazas are full of history. I was deeply moved by the Gold Museum and the views from Monserrate. The city's rich artistic spirit and the warmth of its people made my visit truly unforgettable.

There is lots to do and see in Bogota.

There is lots to do and see in Bogota. It is hard to fit it all in to a 4 or 5 day trip. The National Museum, Gold Museum and Botero museum are all very impressive and worth a visit, as are the Botanical Garden, Usaquen and Monserrate. The markets and shopping centres are extensive offering good variety. Restaurants offer typical Colombian and internal cuisine with ample opportunity catering to just about everyone’s tastes.

I love Bogota, I started coming after the pandemic and fell in love with the people and culture. The food is good and much healthier than North America. As with any large international city you need to be cautious but in all my time in Bogota I don't recall ever feeling threatened
