Surrounded by tropical gardens, this small beachfront property is located on Dickenson Bay, just a 5-minute drive from the shopping in downtown St John’s. Wonderful location, helpful staff, great value. Best place in Dickenson Bay. Coming back for sure
Located in Dickenson Bay, Vista Mare provides air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. This self-catered apartment features a garden and free private parking. The property is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. The view is outstanding, the beach and restaurants are a short walk away, and I loved swimming in the pool everyday!
On Dickenson Bay, this resort in Saint John’s features an outdoor pool. The Cedar Valley Golf Club is a 10-minute drive from this resort. Clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Great location, couldn’t be any closer to the beach. We stayed in one of the beach front villas, 49B which we have no complaints about whatsoever. It’s just perfect. It has a seafront balcony with 2 sofas and a gas BBQ which we used every day. Waking up to that view every morning and having your breakfast on the balcony is just bliss. It has everything you could possibly need and the bedroom is air conditioned. There’s a daily cleaning service, fresh towels etc. Staff are very professional, friendly and polite. Would highly recommend this place to anyone! Antigua Village has excellent staff and amenities. Small shop for beer, water crisps, mosquito repellant etc. The pool is very clean, the grounds are immaculate. There is a supermarket called First Choice which is 2km away. Walking there is no trouble at all, however might want to get a taxi back if buying lots or take the car if you have hired one. We didn’t hire a car which is our only regret. We used taxis everywhere which was expensive but we received an excellent service from all taxi drivers. They are extremely polite - as is everyone else we met in Antigua - knowledgable and efficient. Whoever picks you up, you’re sure to get a full tour guide experience covering everything that you pass, local history, advice on where to eat / visit etc which we loved. Dickerson Bay is perfect, what else can I say.. We went in November which is before the high season starts on 15th December. This worked out very well as everywhere is quiet. This does have a bit of a downside as not all the restaurants are open but this didn’t cause an issue for us so not really an issue as there were plenty open. As more cruise ships arrive you notice the beaches are a bit busier but nothing like it would be in the high season. The weather was perfect even though we had rain on several occasions. It just chucked it down for a few minutes and then went back to being brilliant sunshine.
Set 1.4 mi from Fort James Beach, Dickenson Bay Oasis@AntiguaVillage offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. Location of the villa was perfect, just steps away from the beach and right next to the restaurant, but yet was quiet for us to enjoy. The unit itself probably needs some updating (except the washroom was newly renovated). Staff was rather helpful (registration could do with more staff at peak times though): William looked after all our island tour/airport/supermarket taxi runs, he was fantastic! Vernita from Dominica made sure our unit was spot clean each day and we had fresh towels each day. Tim, the property manager, was very attentive and made sure our stay was nothing other than fantastic, from the moment we initiated interest in the property until the day we left the condo resort. Thank you very much! We will definitely return soon. The beach was beautiful and located right next to the Sandals resort. Waters calm and clear. We thought Aruba was great, but Antigua might have taken over - imho.
This resort is set along the white sand beach of Dickenson Bay, Antigua. It features on-site dining, a freshwater pool and tropical gardens. Guest rooms include full kitchenettes. Staff was amazing, the rooms fantastic. The Bar also a great meeting place - people from surrounding hotels came to hang out because it's one of the last true beach bars. Amazing property, highly recommend it.
Antigua Seaview is located 1.9 mi from Saint John’s capital city and about 7 minutes’ drive from Antigua and Barbuda Museum. Free WiFi access is available in all rooms. I must state that the reception at the Hotel was superb, not only did the owner Donna welcome me as a guest ,but her amiable disposition and attention to details were excellent.Even taking time to address my need for mini iron board and television setting.I will definitely stay on my next trip.I must also compliment the attendant, whose name I forgot. She is an asset to the Hotel.
St. John’s hotel is located on 17 acres of tropical gardens and is a 15-minute drive from VC Bird International Airport. It features 3 freshwater pools, 2 beaches, 3 a la carte restaurants and 4 bars.... Loved the location, the staff and the ambiance. Absolutely perfect size. Staff friendly and professional beyond bounds. Commend staff members Bella, Derah, TJ and Tario John the head gardiner was wonderful
very quiet area dominated by the large Sandals hotel next door, not too many places to eat at and the restaurant Salt Plage is expensive but unfortunately not very good !! Get a car and find other places in the nearby St johns (capital)
Dickenson Bay is a beautiful beach - white sand and turquoise water. Much quieter that I expected although we were there during low season- late April to early May. I thought there’d be more beach bars/restaurants but there was only one although one was being renovated. A lot of the front is taken up by a Sandals all inclusive resort.
Not much in dickinson bay per se but being on hill was the place to be much better as that is where the calm peaceful beautiful villas are and the beach is close and the owners will drive you and arrange pickup for $5 there and back so rudiculously good deal
Dickenson bay is a beautiful location with azure waters White sandy beach and some nice beachside bars However although the beach is the property of the local authority and open to the public Only a small section is available as the majority of the best beach area is used by Sandals Resort guests as their sunbeds are positioned there
Nice (pretty)beach/ lounge chairs bars/lunch spots w/ views. I spent the morning/afternoon swimming, walking the beach/ laying out/ chatting w/ other travelers I met. I had lunch/drinks at Coconut Grove on the beach. I just had my taxi drop me at the beach that morning and pick me up after lunch at the restaurant—nice morning/afternoon at Dickerson Beach.

Wonderful location, helpful staff, great value. Best place in Dickenson Bay. Coming back for sure
