It was an amazing place on the hill with adorable lake view from the balcony. Stylish, modern, new, with many sweet details in design, I like it very much. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. I will come back again, I believe. It's very close to Ancient Mosaic and cape, very peaceful place fool og energy. Restaurant is in detached place, also very beautiful. As I understood it is possible to make some events there as birthdays or even weddings. Must visit!)

This is THE place to stay in Lin. Everything was perfect: the room, the garden, the view. The room was very clean, luminuos and spacious enough. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. I also had dinner one night and it was amazing. I ate fresh fish caught by the manager of the place himself. The whole family was very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed staying there. It's a good place for contemplation.

It was a real privelege to stay here. We enjoyed our stay at this cosy place. The interior is tastefull decorated with eye for detail. Everything was spotlessly clean, very cosy, with a good bed, beautiful garden and balcony and such a friendly owners! We had our dinners here. The owner is a good cook. Everything we eated tasted dellicious. Made with love and the best ingrediënts. All home made ingrediënts from this village. She mades her own wine and it taste good. Specially the fish from the oven, the greek salade, the caramel dessert and the pepers filled with rice are great. We had a big room tastefull decorated with a good shower Don't hesitate to stay here! Highly recommended!

Beautiful views in a beautiful house at the lake. The room was great with an attached bathroom. Our room had a Lakeside view and a balcony where you could look out over the lake. Definitely have a seat in the garden and look at the great view.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night.

Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night. Fantastic lake and mountain views. Like stepping back in time. It's a way to visit the real Albania, with all its simple charms as well as flaws. Definitely not a fancy or Disneyland-type place. Has a few decent places for a lakefront meal or drink. Just walk around town to admire its authenticity and be sure to walk up to the rocky peninsula for the outstanding views (you'll likely see some sheep, donkeys and chickens long the way).

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but...

The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but fine for any reasonably fit person. Good to see the ruins of the monastery and the mosaic, follow the red and white stripes. Then through the green gate to the end of the promontory where there is an old pill box with views across the Lake Orhid. Hotel Leza stocks a wheat beer more to our taste if you like ale. Lin is a pretty village one of the oldest inhabited in Europe.

Nice little village on the shore of Ohrid lake.

Nice little village on the shore of Ohrid lake. We stayed there 2 nights but we could have stayed 1 more night. There are some nice walks to do in the village. One along the coast and and another one uphill to reach a bunker dating from the communist regime. The place is convenient for those who need to catch a plane in Ohrid airport. Just make sure to leave in good time due to potential delays at the border between Albania and North Macedonia.

A wonderful, quiet place with what you would call "soft tourism" appeal. I do hope they keep the village like it is and don't make the same mistake as they have made in Ksamil (see my other evaluations).

Lin is a charming village nestled beside Lake Ohrid.

Lin is a charming village nestled beside Lake Ohrid. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, with friendly and genuinely hospitable residents. As you drive down the national road leading to Pogradec, the village of Lin appears below. This picturesque peninsula is home to hundreds of locals. As you approach, the vibrant red roofs of its quaint homes stand out. Notably, one of the oldest mosaics in the Eastern European region, dating back to the 4th century, is located here. Its detailed designs and beauty seamlessly complement the surrounding landscape!

Lin is a small fishing village in a stunning, timeless setting. Our hosts were thoughtful without being intrusive. The calm of the place and the kindness of the inhabitants make it well worth a visit.
