Amazing experience staying at Children of Armenia Fund Hotel in the region with multitude of amazing monasteries. This place is extraordinary for so many reason: its stylish, beautifully designed, with gorgeous views of the valley but most importantly 100% of what you pay goes to a local school for children from surrounding villages. Ellit (Lilly) who welcomed us very kind, professional and very helpful. The visit of the monasteries gave us a chance to see a real timeless Armenia. And the dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was all locally sourced and simply delicious. Wonderful place!

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The hosts clearly pay attention to every detail and know how to create a comfortable, welcoming experience. Everything was well organized, communication was excellent, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The staff is amazing, because they give you tips where to go and host a cozy camp fire in the evenings with tea, wine and coffee. We are animal lovers so it was very satisfying to see how much love and care they have for their animals.

We met incredibly warm and welcoming people and thank you all for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you. We will definitely visit you again. Everyone at Hyuga does their work with so much joy, passion, and love. We felt extremely comfortable as guests. Honestly, everything is even more beautiful and better in reality than in the pictures on booking.com. The view through the large glass window from the bed is simply stunning. Even on the seventh day, we couldn't get enough of it. The hosts have a perfect property with potential for expansion. There is now a jacuzzi and a bamboo fence around it. This provides significantly more privacy on the terrace, which we found very pleasant. During our stay, swing benches were painted and installed. There will soon be a fire pit. The interior design is really stylish, and the cleanliness is impeccable. One highlight deserves special mention: the kitchen. The breakfast is very delicious and varied. All the dishes we had for dinner were simply "wow." Here we could clearly feel that the chefs all worked with a great deal of passion and love, and we could taste it. We very rarely eat out with our two 7-year-old daughters, especially not for dinner. They're full after five minutes at the most, and then we as parents can't enjoy the meal because they get restless. An hour later, it's "I'm hungry" again. It was possible to have dinner quite early. There were no other guests at that time. The children could draw and play at the next table and were allowed to act like "kids." So dinner was very pleasant for us. Thank you so much for that.

Debed is an authentic Armenian village surrounded by mountains and forests. From Debed you can easily reach the ancient monastery complexes of Hahgpat, Sanahin, Odzun by car or taxi, visit the ruins of Kobayr monastery, hike or even camp in the woods.

What an exceptional cute place for someone who values clean...

What an exceptional cute place for someone who values clean environment and an honest food. Our cook Ruzanna was patiently waiting to organise our late check in. She did everything to make our stay comfortable with young child. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back next year. Thanks again for everything.
