We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our triple room was upgraded for a separate cottage with lots of space. All facilities were in order and very clean. The territory looks like a garden, full of flowers and beautiful trees, surrounded by the mountains. Very picturesque. Friendly staff, good food and wine, huge meals, spacious swimming pool with heated water (not so common in Armenia). We were sorry to leave. Special thanks to young lady the manager, she took very good care of us and resolved all issues very quickly and efficiently. We wish peace and prosperity to your hotel and all people of Armenia!

Our stay at "Sapsan Lodge" was truly unforgettable. We stayed high in the mountains with the most breathtaking views we have ever experienced. Waking up surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery felt almost magical. It was the first time in our lives that we had such a unique and special experience. We also ordered dinner, and it was amazing to watch it being carefully delivered up the mountain to us – such a memorable moment! Everything about this place felt peaceful, authentic, and extraordinary. To everyone visiting Armenia – we sincerely recommend staying in this magical place. I am shocked. I have never experienced such great hospitality and kindness. The cottage was located by a river, surrounded by nature. The location is truly outstanding, with breathtaking views and a large private territory. We visited during rainy weather, so it was a bit muddy underfoot, but in better conditions it must be absolutely beautiful—especially when the apple trees are in bloom. Even in poor weather, the road to the house is well-maintained and easily accessible by a sedan, which is a big plus. The breakfasts were a highlight for me: delicious farm-made products, fresh and full of flavor. David is a wonderful host—very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We would definitely love to come back, especially in the summer.

We absolutely loved our stay — everything was great from start to finish. The dinner was delicious, and the breakfast, which was included in the price, was both tasty and diverse. The cabin was cozy, perfectly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: slippers, warm blankets, hygiene kits — we felt very comfortable. The architecture of the cabins is beautiful and well-designed, and the view from the panoramic windows was absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed being able to walk down to the river — it’s such a peaceful and scenic spot. There are also walking routes nearby, and some places of interest are within walking distance. The location is very convenient for exploring the region by car. We easily reached Noravank Monastery, Areni Cave, some lovely local wineries, Lake Sevan, and even Yerevan. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming — we felt genuinely taken care of. This place is perfect both for a short relaxing getaway and for a longer trip exploring the Vayots Dzor region. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through southern Armenia.
