Great property in Ayla area. Very nice hotel, we had a fantastic, very spacious apartment, it was very well equipped and spotless clean. The reception greeted us warmly and we got upgraded without even asking. The service was perfect both on check in and check out. The whole area of Ayla is very nice and modern. Great restaurants and bars are located in this area, there is also a gated access to the private beach which we did not use. On a bit of a flipside, the area is a bit away from Aqaba city center, so dining and shopping options are slightly limited and getting out may require a taxi or a considerable walk. In any case we would love to be back.

Migdalor has equipment rental, nice cafe, nice shady sittings and very nice snorkeling, but bad entrance to the sea because of pebbles and rocks. Coral beach has all of above and nice ramp with steps to the water. Migdalor has better snorkeling, Coral beach has moderate entrance fee. We went for lunch to Irish Bar cafe, which was surprisingly delicious. Yummy-Yummy ice crèam parlor has good selection if ice creams. There were plenty of little supermarkets with minimal selection of food.

Eilat is an affordable getaway in southern Israel with something for all ages. Families have terrific options for kids, young adults can be free to dress appropriately for the heat, and good, affordable restaurants are everywhere. Most of all, you can walk to most locations. I did visit in the summer, and I must warn you, the heat is incredible. Drink plenty of water. Be smart about your pace and plan your destinations if they take you away from bathrooms or water sources.

Eilat is a city that is in a tax-free zone. It provided us with what we needed when we were purchasing things that were over 17% off of what we would spend in Tel Aviv. It is just not a place for me to enjoy though many people do love it. I find swimming in the ocean next to women's used menstrual pads and babies' used diapers unappealing at best. However that said sitting at a beach resto-bar drinking eating and watching the tide with good music was very pleasant..

Beach on Sunday was nice and quiet. The hotel I booked was deceiving, they used photos that made it look like it was on the beach and the pool was on site hover there were two locations, neither on the beach and the one I stayed had a 15 to 20 minute walk to breakfast and to the pool. Rom was sparse, TV did not work, air barely worked. Room dirty and shower was disgusting. One towel each per quest for 2 days, no hand towels, face cloths or bath mat. Shower over tan it’s booth, so water was all over bathroom floor creating a slip hazard
