Really lovely little hotel up behind the Marriott in Tsaghkadzor. Staff were lovely and super friendly - brought coffee and cake to my room at 10AM and had no problem with a late checkout. Price very reasonable as well Would definitely stay again!

Tsaghkadzor is an amazing place with splendid view of Armenian mountains during winter and summer. In October the forests are multicolor. It is cozy small touristic city offering to its visitors skiing and other activities. You will find interesting museum of prominent Armenian Scientists - Orbeli brothers. In the street you will find cozy resto and cafeterias where you may enjoy the views as well. There are small shops everywhere. In city center you will find a gorgeous Armenian medieval monastic complex Kecharis - (11 century) and near a small wonderful church "Sain John" dating 8 century. There is a good park where you fill find Zipline and near a restaurant. The park offers several activities as well like Sled with Dogs. So for winter stay will have enough impressions with splendid views.

If you travel to Armenia, Tsakhkadzor is a must go place, at least for the Ropeway. It is an amazing experience to go up the hills on a rope, with beautiful views around you. There is also a zip line and if you like skiing, you should visit in winter. It is very tranquil place to stay. It was a good long walk from the hotel (Kecharis Hotel) to Tsaghkadzor Ropeway, there's more to experience if you have enough budget to try their best activities. Tsaghkadzor City Park is one of the nicest places to take your time to relax and immerse in the beauty of places in Tsagkhadzor, must try the Tumanyan Shaurma along Orbelli Brothers Street with good prices and portions of food. Places of interest in Tsaghkadzor such as the Kecharis Monastery, museums, parks and dining places are within a walking distance from each other. The Ropeway is a bit of a ride uphill (of course) so a taxi was useful. Going down is a good hike. Tsaghkadzor offers public wifi so its easy to hail a Yandex Go (taxi) even without a pocket wifi/local sim. On Orbeli St. comes a line up of restaurants - tried Yasaman and its a 10! Tumanyan Shaurma is a good deal, 10 it is for fast food! We wanted to experience snowfall, and experience white Christmas. But our visit may have been too early (Dec 16) or maybe climate change didn't bring that much snow this time of year vs previous ones.

Nice place to be especially in snowy weather.
Nice place to be especially in snowy weather. It turns to fairy land. Some of the things to do is to take the ropeway (make sure to dress up warm as it gets chillier up there), go to Orbeli brothers' museum (in one of the photos attached is a working room of one of the brothers), go to the town park (make sure you are not alone if you are scared of dogs), and check in the restaurants in the square.

Great location, equidistant between ski area and restaurants/shops. Free shuttle between hotel and ski lift on demand (by phone call). Decent breakfast, although starting at 10am is a bit late for some (early skiers!). Really nice staff (especially Arman) who went out of his way to help us, above and beyond what is expected of a hotel.
