Overall it was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Our dog liked everything here as well :) Very kind personnel, clean, cozy, and quiet rooms, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the clean pool and saunas and also a private beach near the lake. The breakfasts were delicious with a big variety of food. They also propose free bikes to ride around the village that is pretty cool. Definitely will stay here next time.

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities...
It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!CarolynUnited Kingdom - 10

the staff is amazing To things are subjects for improvement First 1.enrich the breakfast 2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

Hotel itself was very traditional, staff helpful and friendly and spoke English. The room was spacious on the 3. floor, but no aircon. Beds were very good and bathroom nice and modern. Breakfast was fantastic with everything - even an omelet station with a chef cooking your omelet to order with your selection of toppings. Evening meal in the restaurant was also lovely and well priced, with local ingredients. All in all a very nice 3-day stay.
