The staff was amazing. My flights had multiple challenges, and the staff was easy to work with, and so exceptionally welcoming upon my arrival. They were thoughtful, kind, and helpful. The attached Barra Bar has a good menu, and my first steak in Australia was delicious and cooked perfect. I will definitely go again before I leave the country.

Don't bother booking through Booking.com

Don't bother booking through Booking.com We booked a Granny Flat through Booking.com and it was confirmed a week before only to be told just before we left on our journey that they had double booked. They canceled our one-night stay and took a booking from someone else for 3 nights instead. Quickly found another place in Algester through Booking.com had to pay upfront, and received confirmation. Traveled from Hervey Bay to Algester to find accommodation not available We frantically then had to find alternate accommodation kilometers from where we needed to be. Not the best way to treat your Gold Members. Thoroughly disgusted

Stayed at Algester as it was close for work the following...

Stayed at Algester as it was close for work the following day. Algester is basically suburbia. Some parks in area and shopping centre but couldn't comment on what social activities are available. I would not chose this location again as limited accommodation available and the place I stayed at had not been serviced and was unclean. I'll plan my trip better next time to avoid staying in the area.
