Located on a hillside just 1.9 mi from the Augusta town center, Sheoak Chalets are surrounded by the native trees of Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park. Spotlessly clean, fire stoked and ready to light, chocolates on the pillow & a lovely fresh flower on the table. The room itself was outdated, but had a country charm, And comfy bed! Great spot, close to town, but far enough away for some peace & quiet.
Just a 9-minute drive from Jewel Cave, Augusta Escape Holiday Units offers self-contained apartments with a fully-equipped kitchen and garden views. Free parking is available. The place is clean and quiet. All the utilities and kitchenware are complete. Its all you need for airbnb. And there is small barn that kids can play with. Kyra efforts to provide some basic toys for kids to play is greatly appreciated.
Located on 80 acres just a 5-minute drive from Augusta, Sapphire Chalets offer fully self-contained accommodations. Loved the feel of remoteness whilst still only being a 5min drive out of town. The chalets are very spacious and comfortable to use. The owners have been very responsive to inquiries and pleasant to liaise with.

Cowrie Chalet, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Augusta, 6 miles from Jewel Cave. Great location close to the river, making for an easy walk into town. House was clean with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the wood fire on cold evenings and the very hot showers. The kitchen has all the basic amenities and there’s room to enjoy your morning coffee outside.
We were meeting up with friends who were camping nearby at Turner caravan park, this turned out to be two minutes walk away. Just perfect. Augusta is delightful with beautiful scenery and great wineries not far away. Great walking trails too. The hotel does great bar meals and has a wood burner. The Colour Patch is a cafe and restaurant at night. Not open early in the week.
Cannot help the weather but cold and damp. However house was comfortable. Ate at Chinese, hotel, Colourpatch all good food. Travelledto lighthouse and surrounding areas.Margaret River, Busselton, Yallingup, cowaramup etc.
We really loved this town. Everywhere you went you could see the water. The town really makes an effort it was so clean. All the parks and gardens were well looked after. All the people were so lovely and friendly and nice. We really fell in love with Augusta.
A beautiful place to visit only a 3.5 hour drive from Perth, with both the Blackwood River and Southern ocean meeting making it a very scenic place. Only a short drive to the Leeuwin lighthouse and Jewel Cave with a modern marina to experience Whale watching as well as fishing charters along with a great hotel for enjoying a nice meal and having a few drinks. A relaxing time with friendly people all around.
We planned our stay around two days and organised three main activities - Lighthouse Tour, River Cruise and Jewel Cave Visit. In between we visited half a dozen historical sights and lookouts. We also fitted in a visit to the local (Excellent) Historical Museum. Could have added another day to do all properly. Highlight meals were in the Deckchair Cafe for Eggs and avocado for breakfast, and a handmade pizza cooked in an old school bus (Gustos). Very friendly town and exceptionally clean and tidy. Coastal scenery is spectacular. The Boat cruise offers a lot of bird watching opportunities together with some tag along Dolphins. Great way to spend an afternoon. Weather is changeable being right on the SW tip of the country. We had a mx of light drizzle, overcast and fun sun over three days. Scones and jam at the Lighthouse Cafe are worth a long drive,
We have been to Augusta many, many times. For the first timer, it is a jewel in the southwest for caves, coastal scenery, beautiful beaches, fishing and access to major wine region and magnificent forests. Augusta is a quiet village type town which has not been spoilt by over development.
Great location for a cosy stay at Augusta! This place was chosen due to the fact we could bring our two dogs with us, on our little weekend away. It was lovely to have the fireplace at night to keep us all warm! The view from the room was amazing, plus it was refreshing to be in the country air! Would definitely stay here when we are in Augusta again :)
The location was spot on for someone wanting to get away from it all. A little gem set back off the road.Wake up to the kookaburras and sit on the verandah watching the fairy wrens and more. Five minute drive to the beach and ten minutes to Augusta. Host Tony excellent communication, thank you.
Lovely apartment, walking distance to shops, cafes and Augusta Hotel. Apartment is set up to take advantage of the natural sunlight inside and outside with dual balconies. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied. Hot tub an added bonus. Easy in and out process with a lock box.
This little retro gem could do with an upgrade but the host was amazing. Nothing was too much for her. Would always stay here when in Augusta. Loved the fresh milk in the fridge and all the helpful information provided by the hosts.
Amazing view! Living area was very spacious so even with a bit of a windy day we could enjoy the view from the lounge and be comfortable. Bedrooms were big as well and the house had everything you need for a weekend in Augusta.
Chalet and surroundings are very pleasant. Plenty of room for the family with spacious kitchen and living area. Outdoor grill and fireplace were both appreciated conveniences.
