Glen Villa Resort is located in Byron Bay, just a 2-minute walk from the center of town. It offers fully self-contained cabins with private bathrooms and kitchenettes. Everything! from the moment we checked in, it was an incredibly pleasant experience. Every staff member we spoke to were polite and informative and more than happy to help with any queries. If you travel to Byron via bus/shuttle it’s very close to the Byron Bay interchange and only a short walk to the centre of Byron/Beach. It’s also far enough away from town to really feel like a peaceful retreat. We initially only booked for 7 nights but ended up staying for 12. We will definitely recommend Glen Villa to our family and friends and would love to someday return.

Byron Bay is an interesting and lovely destination. A large range of eating facilities, restaurants, bars and pubs. There is also a movie theatre. A lovely board walk out to the Cafe is a ‘must do’. Then after a coffee, a walk back along the surf beach, whilst watching the surfers and kayak riders enjoying the sea and spectacular views. Eat at the corner pub, up on the verandah. A must do is The Three Blue Ducks for lunch, great food and lots of interesting add-ons at The Farm.
A very different vibe to Noosa that we’d just come from but equally good . We were probably 40 year’s older than the average age but felt very comfortable & relaxed as everyone else was. Some excellent restaurants & all the usual clothing / surf type shops . The beach is fabulous & so long either direction never gets overcrowded . Fabulous sunsets. Surrounding countryside was a great surprise . Very green rolling hills , arable farming & forrests . In many ways you could have been in parts of U.K. . Shropshire , Wiltshire etc . Some interesting little villages to visit too .
Byron Bay is for the young crowd. Cafes, restaurants and shops only catered to young people. Driving around Byron townsite is a challenge and a drive to check out local beaches and the lighthouse was impossible by car with long traffic jams and no available parking. Byron is a bit tired and overrated.
The lighthouse walk is brilliant- the beaches are awesome. My accommodation was so insanely overpriced it’s was brutally disappointing. Poorly maintained facility overall - don’t she’ll out the money they are seeking because the accommodation is generally dirty. (Aquarius Backpackers Resort - hotel room $300 night)
Beautiful place to relax, shop, chill and also partying. Very good vibe even though sometimes you come accross some intresting caracters but for everyone that knows and loves Byron, that is part of it.
Loved the serenity and the vibe at the Crystal Castle -20 minutes from Byron. Sound meditation was beautiful! Beaches and weather were great, people were friendly and I loved the live music in the laneways- had a real European feel about the place. Food tasted great, especially at the Cypriot restaurant and the cost was reasonable. Everything is within walking distance so it was great to take walks around the place. Will visit again!
Byron Bay
Comfortable and warm welcome with easy and safe parking at the back of the property . The property was quiet , well located both for a short walk into the town and an interesting and "whale watching" walk up and around Byron bay lighthouse . Bed was very comfortable , hot shower much appreciated after sea kayaking and morning pastries and muffins much enjoyed . Thank you Katie for all which made our stay so memorable
Byron Bay
I liked the location, the pool, the little caravan cafe and the pizza place. It's very child and pet friendly, good for families and anyone outdoorsy and wanting to be near the beach. Also not far from the Byron Bay town. The cabins were nice and would be better with changes.
Byron Bay
We like staying here in the cabins. The park is very well managed. Good value for Byron Bay. It’s an easy five minute walk to the CBD but away from the traffic jams. We cut our stay short because of the ongoing rain. Can’t really blame Glen Villa for the weather.
Belongil Beach, Byron Bay
The location being so close to the main shops of Byron Bay but not in the main center of town was great. Beaches also being so close was excellent. Loads of local restaurants to pick from as well as opportunities to buy your owns goods was a bonus.

The room was comfortable, a bit on the small side but good value for money. The hotel is in an excellent location, a very short walk to Main Beach and the Byron Bay Town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.
