Beautiful and peaceful location. It is understood when booking that this is rustic accommodation and the new owners are doing their best to do necessary maintenance on the charming historic cottages.There was a big fridge freezer , a good gas stove and adequate cooking implements for self catering. Rain water for drinking and showering. The gas hot water heater worked well. There was also very good Indian style food at the on-site restaurant Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

I was surprised at the size and the general comfort of our room, with many details thoughtfully planned. This was easily one of the most comfortable and pleasant experiences I’ve had within this price range. The bathroom and the room were spacious and pleasant with more beds than we’d anticipated, the motel had a complete gym, a swimming pool, cameras and security, reasonably fast internet, and the room had a spacious fridge and a microwave. As a seasoned traveler traveling with family, I couldn’t have asked for much more than this, although there was more than this (including entertainment). Might be slightly frugal for some, with the fridge not really serving as a minibar namely, but was perfect for me. High marks.
