Such a beautiful country town Lots to do , walk around the lake Visit wombat hill gardens Have breakfast at Cliffys ( you have to book ) Book in advance to eat at Beppes best restaurant in town . Tried to book 4 weeks ago as we’re going for a weekend away with my family for my Wife’s 60th birthday celebration but booked out SO Disappointed ☹️ So booked at Rubens instead at Hepburn springs Great food and service was great 👍 😀
Daylesford is great, we have been there previously (numerous visits) and have friends who live locally. The town has some lovely restaurants and the shopping, spa-options and rural small-town ambiance are enjoyable.
Daylesford is a beautiful town to stay at with great selection of accommodations, eating venues like the Lakehouse, Beppe etc & variety of nice fashion retail stores & Lake area with the famous Lakehouse the Convent & great Gardens. Plus it's Hepburn Springs Spa, eateries & shops all make this area a great place to stay, with the added bonus of a great variety of other lovely towns placed conveniently all around this area to visit. We have stayed at Daylesford now on numerous occasions both for holidays & special family celebrations over many years, & highly recommend.
We loved the accommodation as it was close to all the places we visited... The only really issue was our heater. It was a weekend so it's hard to get a hold of someone about our heater playing up. We were cold during the nights of our stay. Had to wait for the next day for heater to be on again. It wasn't faulty, it probably just played up during our stay. I wasn't able to complain about it today as we already checked out.
We stayed at Bodhi retreat. Such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Facilities were excellent. The property was so beautifully presented. Gorgeous and thoughtful touches such as firewood, kindling, fire starters and matches, heating and lighting on for our arrival as well as music and a complimentary bottle of wine. Could have stayed for a week!
Daylesford
Wonderful service as the hotel minded our bags, as we arrived earlier than the scheduled check in. Check in was very easy and friendly which we loved. We stayed in the King spa suite, and the room was lovely and spacious with a large spa, heaven. Had a lovely central courtyard setting too for all guests to enjoy, perfect for relaxing and reading a book in the pretty garden surrounds. Perfect location right in the central hub of Daylesford.

Everything was amazing. The proximity to town, the property was immaculate, extremely comfortable and very cosy. It is very well decorated and very inviting. It was really nice to arrive at the property with the fire on and ambient music playing with a bottle of complimentary wine. Highly recommend the property, a great place to gather with friends and enjoy the house and Daylesford.
Daylesford
Beautiful house in a wonderful location. Super quiet and peaceful. The decor is lovely and nothing the owner hasn't thought off to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The beds are very comfortable and the seperate spa house next to the house is very nice too. It is only a few minutes drive from the centre of Daylesford yet it feels you are completely remote.
Daylesford
I had been to Daylesford many times and this is one of the best places I've been! the house is wonderful, has all the basics you need for cooking, great property, close to shops and walking distance to the lake, location is amazing as is very quiet and peaceful, lovely plants and lots of places to sit around the property! will definitely go back!
Location is excellence, in the middle of the town (two stretches of shops along the main road and further up, this hotel is at the end of the first stretch). Walking distance to Lake Daylesford (abt 800m by pass shops hence manageable). Nothing much in town but our key hightlight was Lavendura Swiss Italian Farm (need to drive).

Everything, location was super easy to find, right in the heart of Daylesford. It's a little old school British looking cottage and gives off that really old Victorian vibe from back in the days
