Great time enjoying coffee and Brunch. Best cafe was Poncho, food was exceptional and beverages was tops. Not enough clothe stores for girls who want to shop but lots of spas to make up for that. Beppe restaurant was great for the atmosphere as well as food & drinks.
I stayed 3 days Saturday - Monday. The town closes down at 2pm Saturday and most things are closed Sunday. Not a lot to see in the actual town but it is an easy drive to near by areas to explore. I enjoyed the Sunday railway market with a mix of food, craft and bric a brac. Had an amazing dinner at Jackie's on Vincent feed me menu. There are plenty of dining options around the town and they are reasonably priced. It's easy to walk to most places within Daylesford. The people were friendly and helpful. If you enjoy a quiet retreat then it is a good place to switch off and unwind. Especially since the internet coverage is poor. Lots of beautiful and interesting art, natural attractions and buildings or gardens with history and character. Hepburn springs has a lovely lakeside garden walk. The actual beauty and spa treatments were very expensive everywhere in the town and not good value for what you got.
I visited Daylesford for a relaxing long weekend getaway with my teenage daughter. We ate at the bakery, Los Fridays, Taj Mahal Indian restaurant and stayed at the serene La Boheme villa with amazing pottery made by the owner Minna Graham, onsite. We walked around the lake and shops and easy 5 min drive to Musk Vale where we stayed. Highly recommended for short , or long stay.
In Victoria's Macedon ranges Daylesford is a very scenic town historically in good mining country. The main feature of the town is the Daylesford Lake surrounded by accomodation and private residences (but set back) with an easy walking trail around it. And of course spots where you can taste the natural mineral water the the region is known for. Plenty of good eating spots to visit (might be worth booking) and well worth a visit it the huge Mill Markets on Central Springs Toad.
We enjoyed walking around the town, eating at local cafes, takeaway & dining at the Upmarket restaurant Hotel Frangos. Enjoyed visiting Jubilee Lake & the Peacocks' & Peahens ,also visiting the Convert Galley & Cafe.
I had a great time there. I did manage to lock myself out around 11pm . The lock box had a contact number. I rand it and got voicemail. Two minutes later s return call and they have a back up key . Well thought out . Two good sized room great for a family or friends get away🍾

we loved everything about our stay! the location is perfect, nice and close to the Main street of Daylesford, and so close to surrounding attractions and wineries. so close we walked to diners and lunches! Brian and Tim are very welcoming, they made the most incredible breakfast every morning and every detail had so much thought to it. The bed was so comfy and the house and room so beautiful. nice and cosy but with plenty of space to relax. Highly recommended!

The property was honestly gorgeous! I love that you take a little dirt road thinking you are going the wrong way to find this stunning house. Damien is fantastic. Nothing is too hard and he lives on site to help you with anything you need. Very welcoming also, we loved our stay in Daylesford I would definitely recommend to stay here whether just the two of you or up to 8 guests I think it holds. Very happy :) we will be back xx
Really modern and fresh room - it seemed like it had been recently renovated and everything was beautifully done and still kept its charm with the exposed brick wall but with a really modern and clean look. A great location with everything in Daylesford easy to walk around, and good parking meant that it's also easy to get to the surrounds.
