Just 4 minutes’ drive from Spirit of Tasmania Terminal, Argosy Motor Inn offers a restaurant, a bar and free on-site parking. Cassie was the highlight of our sons trip! She made the yummiest, fluffiest pancakes and nothing was too much trouble for her.
Located directly on the banks of Tasmania’s Mersey River, Discovery Parks - Devonport features a children’s playground and a games room. Fantastic location, cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved the fact that our family dog could come on holidays with us. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and playground. Some lovely walks nearby. We will return!

Located on the Mersey River, Dannebrog Lodge offers free WiFi, free breakfast and a guest lounge with a fireplace. The property is a 5-minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Docks. The owner (husband and wife) of the lodge is very nice and supportive person. Both of them have helped me a lot.

This is about Devonport TASMANIA!!!! Lovely river estuary - a short industrial segment then a large bay and Tasmania beyond. Lovely transit of huge ships across the front lawn. One RORO freighter left for Melbourne and the Spirit of Tasmania I and SeaRoad arriving on the Sunday morning. Amazing
Devonport was very central to visit the many coastal towns, we also used as a base to visit Cradle Mountain but be aware the winter weather dictates which attractions you visit in the winter. The supermarkets were nearby for self catering. Parking in the CBD was 1/2 hour not very helpful . I personally like 1-2 hours to look around. The local people are very friendly.
There was lots to do if you like nature and have a car. 10 things to do around Devonport will sort that out for you. Levan Canyon, Preston Falls, Kaydale Gardens (stay for lunch or morning and afternoon tea). Great home cooked meal.
Great recreational and green areas. Beaches are very nice and the city is undergoing development to further enhance its attractability. Great Irish pub and the shopping is ok. Walkway along Victoria Parade is very good for walking or bike riding. Only 1 hour from Launceston.
We travelled around for a week in Tasmania and we had a fantastic time all the place we loved and the weather was perfect Devonport is a great place to start and finish a holiday the coast line is beautiful
Used East Devonport Caravan Park and Barclay Motor in. Both provided excellent facilities and service, nothing wrong with this place. Recommend Bass Straight Museum. Very Pleasant stay for two nights each end of tripe. East Devonport Caravan park was still open despite late ship arrival.
I really wasn't expecting much when I booked this hotel, just wanted something off the highway for one night. This place was fantastic, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows kind of felt like I was sleeping on bricks but that seemed to be a common thing in Tasmania. One weird thing that I loved was the hairdryer! I have never dried my hair that quickly and nicely before. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and I really wish I had more time to enjoy the atmosphere.
Ten minutes to and from Spirit of Tasmania. Beds were supper comfy, very hard to pull ourselves away the next day. Coffee at the table overlooking river was beautiful, mists over the river brought along a great experience to start the day. Bathrooms were excellent ample room and plenty of hot water. Showers and bath were all used. Great cooking facilities as was hard to find restaurants late at night. Five minutes to Devonport shopping. We reckon the back view from the apartments are the best in the town.
A pleasant accommodation at the back of a cafe. The owners provide great service and communication, free transfers from the spirit of Tasmania just made my trip much easier! The included cooked breakfast was great, well cooked and ready as you arrive for breakfast. If the anyway to stay in Devonport, then come here.
The views from this place were amazing. We sat at the large windows and watched the sunset whilst sipping on some beautiful Tasmanian bubbly. I was very clean and had heaps of storage and space. We would definitely recommend staying here when you are next in Devonport.
The house was authentically decorated with taste and class. The rooms had no unnecessary clutter which was appreciated. The antiques were of excellent quality. The breakfast was delicious. I must mention the cutlery and crockery were of highest standard.
The reception staff gave us warm feeling & professional work. There are mirror more than any others properties that we have had stayed in Tasmania, all the mirror are placed in location where we need.
Great location and little Ferry at the end of street $3.00 into town plus on New Years kept going until 12.30am and stand at front door and watch the Spirit of Tasmania dock or leave
Lovely home like apartment so close to town and the Spirit if Tasmania port.
