It is always a delightful place to visit with easy access to shops, beaches and site seeing icons. Good restaurants all around, wineries, breweries and more. Always something to see and do in Dunsborough. We had a meal at Clancy's which was good, scenery was excellent, easy access to other venues. Had coffee in the town and that was good too. Took in a movie and again well situated and easy to find parking across the road from the movie house. The local wineries and breweries we visited were very warm and friendly and it was a pleasure to visit them. We had A Rolls Royce Experience, which was exceptional, well organized, warm and friendly Bill to take us around to some of the wineries that we had not visited before. Bill gave us valued information and it really was a treat riding in a Rolls Royce and not having to drive ourselves. Definitely a must for anyone wanting to see the wineries and breweries and partake of the tastings. We had an excellent platter of delightful food at Woody Nook too, huge meal that we could not finish but most enjoyable
Dunsborough is a lovely little town with many resteraunts and beaches close by also many within ten to 15 minute drive , lots of nice cafes for breakfast and lunch also a good base for visiting many places close by , they have a large coles and an Iga for anything you may need locals are friendly bern many times I liove the beach at bunker bay one of the best resteraunts we visited was bamboo spice always busy and I would recommend booking it as we just managed to get a table on Thursday night , we also had a rump steak in the pour house which was spot on not a bit left. We stayed in the dunsborough resort so we could walk to anywhere in town which was great
Dunsborough is a great place for any trip. About 2.5 hours from Perth, it is an easy drive. There is so much to do in and around Dunsborough. Great walking trails, fantastic beaches, good food and wine. The only issue, most places to eat are closed Monday to Wednesday so we were limited where to eat. This is not a reflection on Dunsboro' as most places in WA struggle for staff.
Dunsborough has been our destination for our family holiday early each year for the past 30 or so years with our family and now with our grandkids, location is perfect for day trips to Simmo's, The Chocolate Factory, Wineries and all other local businesses that aren't available near our Perth home, the beaches and fishing spots are excellent and above all we love the lower temperature !! Can't wait for our next visit !!
I live only 1.5hrs from Dunsborough and although I travel past it often to go Yallingup etc but I haven't been to the town center for quite some time. We visited some bars and restaurants while staying at Empire Spa and they were lovely, especially the Blue Manna Bistro. Would recommend a visit.

This is my third visit here and I stayed for 3 nights. Unbeknownst to me, check in is now 4pm but my room was ready at 2pm which was awesome and much gratitude. A friendly and very welcoming check in, thank you 😊 Beautiful gardens that were a pleasure to look at. This hotel is right on the inlet and beach with great walk paths. The beach is clear and beautiful, perfect for swimming and walking which I did daily. My balcony had a beautiful garden view with lots of birds, possums and bandicoots - stunning 💚xx
Much more luxurious than I was expecting. Bathroom is massive. Direct access to the outdoor meant I could come and go without going through the shared areas of the lodge. Very comfy bed - I didn't want to get out. Fridge and microwave in the room. Location is on a quiet backstreet of Dunsborough, so good night's sleep guaranteed.
