Just a 5-minute walk from central Hamilton in Victoria, Australia, Goldsmith Motel offers modern rooms with 32-inch flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a spacious seating area. Friendly staff. Great value. Option for reasonably priced hot breakfast. Very clean and comfortable.
Hamilton Lonsdale Motel offers air-conditioned accommodations with modern furnishings, free WiFi and a flat-screen cable TV. Hamilton bus and train terminal is 2953 feet away. Pleasant staff, great location. Very clean and very modern amenities. Would definitely stay again!!
Hamilton Town House Motel is located across the road from Alexander College and is a short walk from the Conference & Exhibition Center, Hamilton Showgrounds and the center of the town. This motel was one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in, with well designed spaces and facilities. The surfaces and decor was very relaxing with updated furniture and furnishings.
Budget on the Lake (previously known as Lenwin on the Lake) offers lakeside accommodations in garden surrounds just 5 minutes’ drive from Hamilton’s city center. Probably the nicest staff I have encountered during a stay. So welcoming and kind and very attentive to any questions we had. Beautiful view of the lake in the morning
Offering free Wi-Fi, a heated pool and BBQ facilities, this property is set on the banks of the Grange Burn in the Southern Grampians. Most accommodations offers a private patio with a dining setting.... Easy access to property, easy to depart, good parking in beside cabin, couch good, bed very comfy, linen clean, heating worked well, dining seats were metal, so a bit hard
After arriving at 5PM on a Sunday evening, I found i had forgoten my belt. With not much confidence I headed out to local shops to find a belt, it felt like a ghost town, no body was walking on the street and evrry card that drove past looked at me "must be a lost tourist", anyway didnt find a belt and my pants diddnt fall down the next day. nice country town!!
The great old gum trees in the Hamilton district are worth travelling there for alone. Add the back drop of the Grampians and the volcanic features a most interesting and attractive place,, after all major Mitchell did it Australia Felix.
Hamilton is lovely, with many places to go and see. We went to the Hamilton Central for an evening meal. Great steaks and the choices were varied. Had a beautiful lunch at the Hamilton Hamper - coffees and sandwiches were very enjoyable. Everywhere we shopped the staff were friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for. We enjoyed ourselves.
Hamilton appears to be conservative in its psyche and I believe it needs a hypo- active injection to dynamically stimulate growth and increased prosperity within the town's C.B.D/S.W. region embracing clean new industry development opportunities, residential and population growth and expanding on the qualities that Hamilton has to offer IE the lake, historic churches and buildings , museums, gallery , performing arts , proximity to local wineries , Grampians National Park, Ship-Wreck Coast/whale watching, Blue Lake and the Mt Gambier region , Additional council income would facilitate escalated council expenditure to capitalise on C.B.D / regional improvements IE beautifIcation, maintenenance, upgrade which in turn would lead to a self sustaining increase in tourism numbers and spending. Regional growth would unlock opportunities for applying and receiving State and Federal Government Development Grants.
hamilton is one of regional Victoria's gems. Not only is it close to the Grampians but it has an excellent botanical garden, lovely streets, good cafes, fine old buildings a very good art gallery and overall, a nice feel.
You can walk around Hamilton easily, it's quite an attractive town, some good shops & cafes, juice bar, restaurants, supermarkets. Cemetery interesting to visit for local history. National Park not too far to drive to, volcano discovery centre really interesting too. Good drives to outlying towns, farms do haybale creations for Christmas. Portland, Port Fairy, Warrnambool only 2 hours drive for a day trip.
Ideally located and right next to Coles supermarket if you need to buy any groceries. Walk through the Coles car park and you will come across a great cafe called Tosca Brown. The room was great and modern with all the amenities you would expect in a motel or even hotel. This room was much nicer than our room in a four star hotel that we stayed in on the same trip. The bathroom was lovely and clean and there was even a kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge and microwave. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The double room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the television and air conditioner worked well. The main street in the centre of town was only a 5-10 minute walk so close for restaurants, the Hamilton Art Gallery, etc. The motel is located in a quiet street although close to the town centre. Overall the room was good value for money and I would not hesitate to stay again.
Stayed there several times and rebooked for good reasons. It's spacious, well equipped, comfortable and reasonably priced. Easy parking right next to the room. When next in Hamilton would very likely stay there again.
Plenty of parking space, very clean renovated room. Easy to find along the Hamilton to Ballarat road near the edge of town. Lots of outside tables and chairs for guests.
Perfect location to enjoy Hamilton College 150 celebration Gala Ball. We just walked across the road to attend the event!
Cabin was clean and comfortable. Easy access to town centre. Reception were very helpful with introducing us to Hamilton.
In the heart of Hamilton and opposite the botanic gardens, it suited are needs perfectly. The breakfast was excellent.
