Set on 3.5 acres in Horsham, Best Westlander Motor Inn offers a heated indoor pool, spa and children’s wading pool. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi access. Upon entry into the reception area I was greeted by Lily and she was lovely. My room was 35 and it was very comfortable. The fact that the heater switch was within easy reach & the room heated up very quickly. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. I found some mud on the floor which was why I rated cleanliness less than excellent. Otherwise everything and everyone were wonderful. I was able to park my car directly outside my room.
Offering a garden, on-site mini-market and both barbecue and laundry facilities, Horsham Riverside Caravan Park is located in Horsham. Location was fantastic, cabin was very well laid out and functional , beds were super comfy and it had everything that you needed there
Horsham Holiday Park (formally Wimmera Lakes Caravan Park) is a great place to base yourself for exploring the Grampians, Little Desert National Park, Mount Arapiles and all the natural beauty and... Good place to stay, really friendly staff. Place is outside the town but close enough to go for griceries or to the restaurant. Good gateway for exploring Grampians and less crowdy than Halls Gap.
Smerdon Lodge Motel offers an outdoor pool, a barbecue area and free Wi-Fi access. It is a 3-minute drive from Horsham Regional Art Gallery and a 5-minute drive from the Botanical Gardens. The staff was exceptional and was very helpful throughout our stay.
I find the town a bit sterile, lacking a personality. Eating options are ok but steer clear of the Noodle take away it is rubbish. One of the best eateries would be the Thai restaurant. Easy to get around but I won’t be staying there again unless I really have to. I actually find the town a bit sad and depressing. So many other towns in Victoria more deserving of praise than Horsham. At least they make an effort.
We found the White Hart Hotel great for reasonably priced meals with friendly staff. We explored the silo art which was fantastic. We had an issue with the wipers on our car, and Repco Horsham went out of their way to help us out. The RSL staff and meals were great.
There's pretty much nothing worth visint Horsham for if you are from Melbourne and don't have family in Horsham. It doesn't have too much going for it in terms of tourist attractions, amenities, places to eat....
Horsham is a large, friendly country town. Horsham is the perfect overnight stopover when travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide - it's about half way. It offers everything anyone could wish for - good country cooking at the pub, cafes, parks (May Park is lovely), takeaway food, and a good variety of shops and services.
Very friendly people everywhere. Decent prices, feels like a country town with good facilities and parks/ playgrounds should you travel with children. Good food and decent prices. Great for day trips to Pink Lake and explorations. Good 3 hour drive from Melb., so quite pleasant. Great stops in between in smaller country towns. Will travel to Horsham anytime again.
I only stayed one night as I used Horsham to begin painted silo tour. Should have stayed at least two nights. Plenty of shopping available. Cinema is classic old style building as I discovered upon seeing a movie.I obviously missed out on more with my short stay.
It’s very convenient and close to everything. The few nights that I stayed with them had been quite peaceful. No crazy truck noises late night or early morning; You can park your car in front of the room and the area is very well lit with ambient lights - there were times I got back to motel VERY LATE (like 1-2am) - I felt very safe because it’s well lit 🙂! Great shower, clean room, clean and update bathroom - very very very happy with the facilities. I honestly was very impressed with the value and quality 🙂 Sonia is also very accommodating and patient with me as well. Will definitely come back again for work trips! Love it!

The staff wonderful, extremely helpful and went the "extra mile". They were very thoughtful as to which of their rooms would suit us best and reached out to us very quickly as we had left items accidentally behind Room was spotless and the property is metres from the Main Street very handy. Highly reccomend

The location of the motel was perfect, the room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. It was perfect for a short 1 night stay for us to get on with our journey the next morning to Adelaide.
