This pub was full of the friendliest folk ever - true Aussie battlers who love a laugh and a beer. As a tourist/outsider, I was welcomed. Great food and great staff. The single room was great, solid value too.

A very pretty and spacious country town. Lots of shop options (and opened late). Lots of choices for food - both at Kadina, but also in the surrounding towns - Wallaroo in particular. Fuel prices on par with Adelaide!

Right from when we were booking in at reception our excellent customer service started. We were given an upgrade as well as a complementary bottle of wine & when we got to our room we found chocolates in the fridge. I can thoroughly recommend this very clean & friendly motel

Kadina is a fine town to visit.

Kadina is a fine town to visit. This was our first visit for some years and we have family history there. The Gateway Motor Inn has gone downhill since we were last there. It is in need of maintenance and no longer provides meals. The Covid epidemic may be responsible for this.

Kadina is much busier since I last stayed over 20 years ago, now having major supermarket and fast-food chains. It provides a central base to explore the Copper Coast, and Yorke Peninsula generally. Just 10km from Wallaroo it's only minutes away, but without the tourism bustle.

There is a lot of Interesting history in the area, Copper Coast. Lovely beach at Wallaroo North. Fishing jetties at nearby Wallaroo, Moonta Bay and Port Hughes. Hotel meals available in town as well as fast food and small restaurants. We had great meals at Anglers Inn at Wallaroo. Very good children’s playground in Kadina town centre. This the largest town in the area which services farms of cereal crops and sheep

Kadina is the virtual 'capital city' of the Yorke Peninsula.

Kadina is the virtual 'capital city' of the Yorke Peninsula. Whether on business or for pleasure, staying at Kadina places the visitor in the ideal location. Beaches abound within a short few kilometres. As does all sea side activities. The town offers so many facilities, shopping & services a city based person has come to rely upon and all so very close at hand. It's a lovely town, bright and cheerful with a well laid out grid of streets. So easy to navigate. Always a pleasure to visit Kadina.
