Set on a quiet 7-acre property, Kadina Gateway Motor Inn offers modern air-conditioned rooms on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and a bistro restaurant. We stayed in a family room (3 adults / 2 children). We were amazed to see that the room had two separate sleeping areas; the main room with a double bed and table etc plus a separate room (with a door) with 3 single beds. This was perfect for us and a real surprise as we were expecting 1 single room. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom newly refurbished. We slept well; the property is set well back from the road so no noisy vehicles passing in the night. The pool area was great. The kids loved having access to it - it was clean and tidy.

I loved the character feel of the building, including the few squeaky floorboards . I loved the age and appreciated the history within its walls. It felt very homely. The meals were amazing, rooms clean and comfy, bathrooms clean and everyone was very friendly. Would love to come back!

Located in Wallaroo in the South Australia region, Wallaroo Marina Waterfront Luxe Apartment features a balcony and sea views. Guests have a private patio. Fantastic location within walking distance to town and the beach plus beautiful view over the marina and to sea. Apartment was as we expected and spotlessly clean. Having the Coopers Ale house downstairs was a bonus.
There is a lot of Interesting history in the area, Copper Coast. Lovely beach at Wallaroo North. Fishing jetties at nearby Wallaroo, Moonta Bay and Port Hughes. Hotel meals available in town as well as fast food and small restaurants. We had great meals at Anglers Inn at Wallaroo. Very good children’s playground in Kadina town centre. This the largest town in the area which services farms of cereal crops and sheep
Kadina is the virtual 'capital city' of the Yorke Peninsula. Whether on business or for pleasure, staying at Kadina places the visitor in the ideal location. Beaches abound within a short few kilometres. As does all sea side activities. The town offers so many facilities, shopping & services a city based person has come to rely upon and all so very close at hand. It's a lovely town, bright and cheerful with a well laid out grid of streets. So easy to navigate. Always a pleasure to visit Kadina.
We only stayed overnight but had the sense of a town that is not thriving. It could be due to Covid but there seemed to be a prevailing sense of depression about the people we had contact with at the Motel as well as the shop keepers and workers there. We travelled to Wallaroo and Moonta and they were bustling with tourists and travellers, It seems that Kadina is the 'poor relation' out of towns in this area. We saw a lot of tradies staying at the motel so they use the town as a base. The McDonalds was second rate and not kept clean, there were ants climbing up the coffee bar counter and there was an unpleasant smell which we commented on to the staff
Such a cute little town. The roads were hard to navigate in the beginning, so many one way and no right turn and sooo many pedestrian crossing. There were enough shops to have a bit of a wander around and waste time. However, there isn't an actual shopping centre, all the shops are stand alone buildings that aren't really grouped together which I found odd. But a good little town. We came for the show and would love to visit again sometime.
i was at your Hotel for relation, i am my husband’s full time care giver. i was burnt out. Both Mentally and Physically. I loved your swimming pool! i loved it as much as i loved the Indian food. I hope to see you again in January.
Our stay at Kadina Village Motel was very pleasant . The staff excellent, the room comfortable. We even got wine and chocolates!
