Just 10 minutes' walk from beach swimming, fishing and pelican feeding, Golden Chain Kalbarri Palm Resort features 2 pools, a hot tub and a tennis court all set on extensive gardens and located at the... staff were so accommodating, place was clean, comfortable and the pool was divine on a 46 degree day
Just 328 feet from Chinaman's Beach on the Murchison River, Murchison View Apartments feature an outdoor pool and a barbecue area conveniently central to all apartments. A magnificent apartment on the first floor. It was clean, spacious and had everything needed for a most enjoyable stay. I would have liked to have stayed longer and will do so in the future.
Wittcarra Beach House is a detached holiday home located on the beachfront with a garden. It is located in Kalbarri in the Western Australia Region. Guests can enjoy the patio and barbecue. The accommodation was excellent as was the view over red bluff and the Indian Ocean. The staff were great and the location just out of town was perfect. Beautifully quiet and peaceful.
Gecko Lodge Kalbarri is a romantic, adults only bed and breakfast positioned just 5 minutes’ walk from the pristine coastline and Murchison River. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, recommended a lot of fantastic places to visit. Terrific location, close to town, beach and river, as well as the tourist spots.
Located in Kalbarri in the Western Australia region and Chinaman's Beach reachable within a 10-minute walk, API Pelican Beach Front Apartments Kalbarri has accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ... Everything really! Great location over from the beach and next to cafes and shops... Apartment was spacious and had good cooking facilities. Shower was lovely and powerful too. Excellent laundry machines and drying lines - all free!! Good parking alongside. Friendly caretakers on site. Go and experience it!
This accommodation is clean and tidy but it is an old building, so if you a looking for executive style accommodation this is not for you, if you just want somewhere to lay your head and relax whilst enjoying the local attractions jump on it! You can walk to all the shops and the waters edge, the kayaking hire is also near by.
We loved our stay in Kalbarri, the national park is amazing. The infrastructure at major sight very impressive, especially the sky walk. Spring is the best time with wildflowers abundant. Travelled with our 88 year old parents and the upgraded walking paths made access easy for them. Facilities, seating and toilets excellent at major sights. Local shops have everything you need and in easy walking distance to accommodation.
Loved the national park and it’s features, quiet relaxing area … gorges cafe was lovely for breakfast and Finlay’s for dinner was not what we were expecting but lovely all the same .. pity it rained a little
Fuel and food costs are very expensive and there is very little choice. A number of takeaway and eat in places. Surprisingly, fish and chips in town have fish from NZ but nothing from Kalbarri. Good news was a truck parks in the Main Street in the afternoon and sells local caught produce. The shopping area is on one section of road. Having visited 25 years ago the CBD has barely changed/grown. Unfortunately, the town itself had little to offer. As in the past accommodation is limited and perhaps even more so in 2022 as damage from last years cyclone has some properties still closed. Also, no surprise that prices are $$$ for even basic accommodation. Booking way ahead is essential. However, the surrounding National Park has much to offer. Amazing walks/drives eg. Skywalk, Natures window and many sections of the coastline. Particularly beautiful and abundant in colour during Spring with wild flowers everywhere.
We always love Kalbarri. It has a unique atmosphere. There’s so much to do no matter what your age. Whether it’s visiting the many wonderful gorges with all abilities access, fishing, swimming at the many lovely beaches, cruising down the river or playing golf…or just sitting in your chair on the foreshore reading a book. On this visit we ate at the recently reopened Upstairs Restaurant. Food, service and ambience was excellent.
Lots to do with both the national park and the beaches. Great for hiking and swimming/snorkelling. I recommend the canoe adventure tour and the horseriding. Tourist attractions like the skywalk are very accessible for those who aren't that confident in their physical abilities. Still some rebuilding going on after the cyclone but hopefully the town will come back to life soon.
Beautiful, well-maintained property, everything was as per the photographs. There are no neighbours right next door allowing for more privacy. Short drive from the centre of Kalbarri with beautiful views to the sea and National Park. Kangaroos hopped up the street one morning. Beds were good quality and very comfortable. House was well setup for a very enjoyable week of relaxing.
Location excellent parking car outside door of accomodation. beds comfey. contactless entry good. close to shops and cafes. easy to find the hotel it is on the main road in. Missed the pelicans being fed due to needing to leave earlie the two mornings we were there. Missed no pool at facilities which I got mixed up thinking there was one
It was clean, cozy and just perfect for our family getaway. The bedrooms were welcoming and the kitchen / living area was a great place to relax and unwind after a full day of exploring. It was small in size but had everything we required for our time in Kalbarri.
It's a hidden gem!!! The host Leticia and Randal are lovely and really helpful! The property just like brand new. Also you have your back yard with a swim poor provide. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back next time to Kalbarri!
Overall it’s a clean and well-maintained property. I would rate this resort a 3 star hotel. Overall the staff service is easily accessible. We do have to clear our own garbage from the room which I have never had such request from a resort before.
Really nice atmosphere both in the rooms and general hotel. Very close to centre of town and only 10 minutes away from beach hikes. Friendly and informative staff at reception. Room clean, spacious and comfortable.
Very very good and pleasant. Great location, nice private swimming pool, great little town, beautiful coastline, exceptional view on river-ocean, perfect for Kalbarri National Park
Despite the fact that the hotel is getting fixed due to the big storm a year ago and the lack of personnel, it is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Good location.
Good location, good internet connection. Well located in central Kalbarri within walking distance of main beach and shops.
A warm welcoming place, lots of added extras in the room that made it feel more like a home, rather than a hotel.
The hotel is located in a prime place; however, the GPS shows few meters away from its gate.
A beautiful oasis in Kalbarri to relax and recharge. Lovely gardens as well.
It is close to the Kalbarri National Park so the location is great.
Best place I've stayed in kalbarri, loved it
Food in Kalbarri was very good
