Located in Katoomba, within a 19-minute walk of Katoomba Scenic World and 1.1 miles of The Three Sisters, Hearty Center Motel provides accommodations with a fitness center and free WiFi throughout the... I think this place should have better punctuation. Room was really clean. Shared facilities as well, and i was barely alone in the whole floor, so never had issues to use the bathroom. Location is perfect, between the main road and the main spot for the lookouts, so its just couple of min up to the restaurants, and couple of min down to the main views. I used massage chair for almost one hour, super relaxing after long day! Beautiful views from the balcony, friendly stuff, i could do super early check in
Katoomba
Located within an Art Deco heritage-listed building, Blue Mountains YHA offers a range of rooms, a BBQ area, a games room and an impressive former ballroom with a cozy fireplace. A great space to share with other people
Katoomba
Just 656 feet from Echo Point and the Three Sisters viewing platform, Echo Point Discovery Motel offers heated rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Echo Point Motel is a lovely place to stay, especially if you wish to visit the Blue Mountains. The little extras make this place stand out. There is a nice range of beverages in the room and there are electrical points at the bedside. The location is central but quiet and the familiar roar of heavy trucks is not to be heard here. There is no on-site restaurant. The ones I thoroughly recommend are The Carrington with fine dining and Regency character for the same price as ordinary restaurants, and the Yellow Deli which is quaint and good quality.
Katoomba
Set among beautiful gardens, Sky Rider Inn offers accommodations with free WiFi, a TV and a DVD player. Very clean and comfortable room, excellent Covid19 protocols, and really professional and friendly hosts. A tribute to a multi generational family business.

Echoes Boutique Hotel & Restaurant Blue Mountains, Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa, and Carrington Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Katoomba.
Katoomba seemed to be a very depressed town with many shops and restaurants closed permanently, or early in the week. Years ago it was a vibrant town but it seems to predominantly consist of camping shops and shabby take away shops. There were some great second hand book shops and the Carrington Hotel was great for a drink. The public transport to and from the hiking routes and other towns was woeful regarding frequency and signage, so I ended up walking to Leura, Echo Point etc. as there were no trains or buses running. The council needs to immediately put up signage regarding which walking tracks are open or closed as hikers are currently crawling under fences designed to keep traffic off the closed roads at Govetts Lookout and Leura Cascades. This is dangerous - it doesn't take much to put up a sign to say the track is either open or closed and have a gate in the fence for pedestrians.
View of valley spectacular from hotel room but we chose to pay a very high room tariff to achieve this outcome - as we needed to stay put for rest and injury recovery. Hotel had no transport to town to compensate for their closed restaurant.
Katoomba itself needs some serious upgrades. A lot of delapidated and poorly maintained properties. Would not choose to stay in Katoomba itself. We enjoyed an excellent meal at Basil nut. I’d prefer next time to to do long walks and forego the scenic railway.
Love the remoteness, despite being only a few hours drive from Sydney, it gave you a feeling of being away from the rat race, and enveloped in serenity and calming wilderness. The towns folk were very welcoming, and assisted you whenever you asked for directions, or where to eat etc. Everyone in Katoomba, seemed at ease, and frequenting the numerous cafes and eateries. We hired a car whilst in Katoomba, and travelled to other close towns and villages around the surrounding area, with relevant ease, we bought our own GPS unit to use in the car, and with its help, navigated our way around with ease. Scenic World is a must do, and so is the walking tracks within the Blue Mountains themselves.
The cable car across the valley was extremely disappointing as it had a huge "pride" banner across most of the side facing Katoomba Falls which completely blocked the view and the attendant had the temerity to say "it's Pride month and the banner is only there for a month". I was only able to be there for a short time and I paid a lot of money for nothing. Bitterly disappointed!!! Echoes and Darley's restaurants were absolutely brilliant, food, service, staff and atmosphere all fantastic, just PERFECT.
I am an Australian and have been visiting Katoomba since I was a child, 60 years ago. I love it. It hasn't changed much, but the cafes, restaurants and accommodation are slightly more sophisticated but still with a rustic charm. Do not expect city level shopping or dining, just expect genuine Australian hospitality in a supreme wilderness environment.
Katoomba
really close to everything such as opposite train station, 12 min walk to car hire, Katoomba main Street literally around the corner, half four walk to Three sisters and Scenic World (or 10 min by bus)! The room is compact but has everything you need. The hotel is beautiful and was quiet for the two nights we stayed. there was a ceiling fan (very effective), Air conditioning and heater so your well covered for all weather. free parking and excellent wifi
Katoomba
We absolutely loved our stay at Rodova Cottage. It is so charming and well kept. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Lovely bed linen, very well appointed stylish kitchen, generous tea, coffee etc. So quiet and peaceful. Centrally located between Leura and Katoomba, a bit hilly to walk but an easy drive. Rodova Cottage is a lovely place to stay and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Mountains.
I loved the old time character of the hotel that blended beautifully with Katoomba’s history, the elevated position and views, comfy bed and decent sized room, very friendly and helpful staff, the location as we took the train and the pool which was a Godsend in the 33 degree heat. I also loved that you could choose to dine there and the bar/lounge. The perfect guesthouse.
Katoomba
Beautiful old style hotel in central Katoomba location. It was close to the 3 sisters lookoutand walkable to the town centre. The hotel has a nice old style ambiance. Not all facilities are operational which is good and understandable given their COVID-19 compliance e.g. sauna not operating. Underground building parking was a bonus!
Katoomba
It is an excellent location with all the facilities that you would expect for the cost. Have stayed here several times and recommended this hotel to many friends. In summary, affordable, clean, no frills and great location in Katoomba.
Katoomba
Was a basic clean room. Bed and pillows were decent and the staff were excellent. The location is great, only a short distance from central Katoomba, hotel has plenty of parking, and the pool is clean and well maintained.
Katoomba
The location was great. Katoomba and Leura were within walking distance. The wrap around verandah was great. We sat out there most of the time. The kitchen was well equipped. All 7 of us fitted in comfortably.
The hotel is perfectly situated with only a 10 minute walk to hiking trails and a 5-8 minute walk to shops and restaurants. We liked the charm of the hotel.
Katoomba
You can't beat the location as it was a 3 min drive to the centre of Katoomba. The room was very quiet and the shower was hot with great water pressure.
Beautiful old world hotel that you want in the Mountains. I have stayed in many hotels in Katoomba and this one is my favourite. Great location too
Katoomba
I did not like anything about my stay in the hotel. The only good thing I'd say it was being close to Katoomba shops.
Katoomba
We loved the location. Beutiful view from the backyard. We could just walk to the Katoomba falls. Well stocked.
All great, room was large and comfortable, hotel is very close to the restaurants in Katoomba Street
Location was great but the breakfast was far below 5 start hotel standards as claimed
