Stay Margaret River offers spacious guest rooms in a quiet garden setting. This 4-star hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Margaret River region. My friend and I have stayed here before and enjoyed the room with breakfast during our stay. One night we had dinner in the restaurant whilst the other two nights we met with friends in the town area. Will definitely return next year when the Margaret River Open Art Studios are on.

Would reconsider going back to Margaret River in early August. Daytime was busy but at night the town was dead. Finding places to eat out was difficult. That may have been a Covid problem (no staff). Morries was a great spot to eat out and would recommend it. Was not impressed with The River Bar and Restaurant. Food was poor and burnt (would not recommend the chicken wings). Shame Settlers do not serve meals on a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Some good coffee shops. Would recommend Riversmith for coffee and breakfast. Not a lot in town for young couples in winter. Next time will travel Spring or Autumn
Great starting point for a two day stay, south direction Augusta, Cape Leeuwin, Karri trees one day, wineries and breweries the next. Highly recommend Swings and Roundabout wineries, very well set up ( and child and dog friendly)
We really enjoyed Margaret River. There were lots of things to do in the area and the town itself had everything we needed. Despite being there in the off season we were able to find somewhere great to eat lunch and dinner each day and most of the vineyards and other attractions were still open. We had an awesome dinner at Elkamo and also La Scarpetta and Settlers Inn. Elkamo was a highlight. We also enjoyed Mammoth Cave and hope to come back and see more in the future. We could have walked to most of the town except the weather was a bit dodgy. Parking was easy though, although it was the off season.
To sum up - Breathtaking. This area of Western Australia offers various different attractions. From the vineyards to the surf beach. The climate is wonderful not too hot in summer and cool enough to enjoy a fire place and glass of red in winter. The venues in and around the town of Margaret River ie; wineries and boutique breweries offer lovely places to sit, relax, eat or just soak up the day.
WE were there in the school holidays so very busy which is great to see local businesses surviving the COVID 19 hit. We did pre-book our evening restaurant choices which was a good move. Plenty of choice and ecelectic small stores also.
Beautiful little town. Lots of lovely shops to look around. Plenty of things to do for few days of stay. and most especially the foods was amazing! We had a great time during our stay. Amazing beach! We had a nice hike @Quinninup falls. View were spectacular. Margaret river brew house has the best squid salad and sticky pork belly. And a must try steak @settlers! And don't forget the Margaret river bakery, Freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly baked pies and croissants 🥐
Spacious very clean room ( large bathroom with spa and very generous bath towels ) in quiet location with a easy walk into Margaret River township. Very good value with excellent self serve continental breakfast with newspapers, very good coffee although a machine, and lovely breakfast room. Large king size bed and pillows were very comfortable and much appreciated. Although next to the Brewhouse which was great, this closed at 9pm so no late night noise. Reception lady was very helpful with great suggestions for dinner etc. ( morries)
We stayed in this luxury accommodation nearly three years ago and were thrilled to be back. The apartment is spotless, well equipped and maintained, and within walking distance of so many Margaret River restaurants, pubs, galleries and attractions. It’s also easy to get to the fabulous wineries and breweries in every direction of the town. Felicity was super-friendly and efficient with checking us and showing us around, and the breakfast items left for us were top quality and much appreciated. Hope to be back soon!
The property was located in a serene and a beautiful place. Perfect retreat for anyone wanting to stay in Margaret river region. It’s located near wineries and gracetown beach is 5 kms from the place. We stayed in the Mcfurlan suite which had spa bath , ample amount of space, shared verandah and queen bed . Loved the way we were welcomed from the friendly staff and the also give 100 marks for MJ bistro situated in the hotel for the quality of food. Thanks and we will surely be back to stay at karriview
Location was great - 10min walk to White Elephant Café for breakfast each morning. So close to beautiful beach and only 10 mins drive to Margaret River. Really convenient access to Caves Road to all the wineries and the roads North to Dunsborough or south to Augusta. House was basic but comfortable- allowed pets so was fantastic to bring our small dogs on holiday. Split system heater / air con in main room which was more than enough to heat whole house. Lots of blankets and doonas supplied.
> Lovely hosts! > Dog friendly > Well kept property with nice garden, really enjoyed the outdoor area > E-bikes that can be borrowed (no extra cost) - we used them every day! > Bath tub, loved it! > Location was amazing - super close to the forest walks/rides, and the main town strip > The food (juices, yoghurts, bread, milk etc) in the fridge was unexpected, and really lovely! > Comfortable bed & blankets > Everything was really amazing!
Location. It is clean. The chalets are close to bush walks. There’s only 2 chalets so its private and quiet. The owners are very friendly and have 2 beautiful dogs. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Close to Margaret River town - a 10 min drive. Across the road is the Yehava Coffee touted as best and Temper chocolates. Close to cave road and vineyards
Firstly, the rooms were very sizeable and the two story 'house' was beautifully decorated. The facilities were amazing, the kitchen was set up to actually cook meals in it, the bedrooms were very warm on a cold winter's day and it was just THE BEST PLACE I have stayed in Margaret River, ever. I have stayed in many places.
The location, right in town and close to river was perfect for walking, especially to many cafes, restaurants and shops. We wanted to explore the many attractions in and around Margaret river so did not intend to spend the day in the room. So the room we had 'the Cabin', although very cosy, was exactly what we were after.
Peaceful surroundings in bushland approx. 5km from Margaret River township. Full facilities for a self contained stay. Relaxing environment. A wood burning heater gives a 'cosy night in' vibe on chillier evenings. Kangaroos roam near the property to help create an 'at one with nature' bushland experience.
Great location, comfortable and spacious house with a large and open garden that was perfect for the kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. It made for an easy and relaxed holiday.
The proximity to the Main Street of Margaret River Was our reason for staying at House 212. Easy walking distance, only a couple of minutes walk to Margaret River Bakery
Cute hotel. Was one of the less expensive hotels in Margaret River and close to town. Also close to the mountain bike hire shop
The house was clean with good kitchen and amenities. Great back yard for our children to play and keep entertained.
Excellent accommodation surrounded by pure nature. Close to all Margaret River attractions. Highly recommended.
Location was lovely. Breakfast and facilities was wonderful Lovely big bath with luxury towels.
The breakfast was very good and the grounds surrounding the hotel are exceptional!
Everything, the location is far enough out of town that it feels safe and in nature but close enough to pop down to the shop. The cottage was beautiful and it was so special to have our whole family there for our honeymoon, what a perfect place! Also amazing for the kids with the animal feeds, very sweet watching them have so much fun.
Fabulous apartment, great location, excellent staff and facilities.
spacious, beautiful, well-appointed
