Stay Margaret River offers spacious guest rooms in a quiet garden setting. This 4-star hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Margaret River region. Friendly staffs and very helpful, make our stay more comfortable. Restaurant foods pretty good. We had our dinner when we first arrived and went back for another dinner on Sunday night to find out they closed on Sunday and public holiday 😛 our mistake didn't check the sign.
Set among landscaped gardens in the Margaret River wine region, Grand Mercure Basildene Manor features spacious rooms and suites, a swimming pool, sun terrace and tennis court. Such a beautiful place to stay on these cool autumn nights, with fireplaces in little sitting rooms & a big sunny conservatory where breakfast is served and we had full use of during the day & evening. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating our every request. The gardens are magnificent and beautifully kept. The rooms were large, beautifully appointed and prepared and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this venue.
Offering luxurious accommodations in the town center of Margaret River, the Studio Guest Suites is a Georgian-style guest house furnished and themed in various periods. I lived the room and the bath tube. The breakfast is really good. There was freshly cut fruit, yoghurt, eggs, juice and milk in the fridge. We were given a fresh loaf of bread every evening. We throughly enjoyed eating our breakfast in the Gatsby suite.
Margarets In Town (formerly Darby Park Serviced Residences) offers accommodations right in the center of Margaret River town. It features free WiFi, a heated swimming pool and a tennis court. Late check in, full kitchenette, clean. Would highly recommend and stay again.
Just an 8-minute walk from the river, the Margaret River Resort offers air-conditioned rooms with TV, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and an on site pub serving meals and local wines. Quick and easy check in/check out. Fantastic room, great location and facilities.
In a quiet area overlooking the Margaret River, Riverview Tourist Park provides accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a private balcony or patio. The accommodation was perfect. The bed was great. The unit was super clean & very comfortable with minimum noise from neighbours. Parking was at the door. Spacious & had everything needed to stay comfortably. It was within walking distance to the town centre. Accessible to many places of interest.
This secluded 4-star B&B retreat is within a forest, only 1312 feet from Margaret River town center. Room spacious, with coffee facilities even had iron and ironing board. So good as a base for surrounding places of interest Breakfast was adequate. Will recommend to friends who may want to visit the region Nothing

Enjoy visiting the Margaret River region but like everywhere else it has had its issues with COVID. Many places didn’t offer dinner, some places were closed for lunch even though it was the school holidays and super busy. Hopefully things will pickup as overseas travelers start coming back to WA.
It was relaxed and not rushed. Although a lot of the wineries we went to were closed there was still a lot to do. The beaches/surfing which is what we came down for was fantastic. We had multiple opportunities to sample different foods and drink, the cafes were wonderful and catered for our dietary restrictions (FODMAP). A lot of things were walking distance on the Main Street. The Sidewalk Cafe, Fudge Factory, Chocolate Factory, Cheese Factory, The Lavender Tea House, Yallingup Maze, Caves House (must do), Sundlowers Animal Farm, Margaret River Skate Park and the Sea Garden Cafe are all great places to visit!
Highly recommend the Eagle heritage bird park. So informative, entertaining and great value. What a wonderful service they do to rehabilitate injured birds of prey. Recommend to book at eateries during peak periods Colonial brewing doesn’t have a great selection of food choices, mainly pizza and burgers. Great spot for families with young kids. Can take your dog
If you like wineries, then go. Other than that, there is not much to Margaret River. There is one small main street, not many restaurants. We did a Discover Margaret River Tour which was excellent as it showcased the produce, apart from wineries (we visited 3). Other than that one drives to other tourist locations, like the caves, light house etc.
I did not do much sightseeing (this time) as I went for an event at a local Restaurant. MR is a warm friendly town , picturesque and welcoming . It offers an abundance of accom types and eateries. There is a lot to see and do and it deserves at least 3/4 days to cover the beach and hinterland as well as the charming township itself
Margaret River is a wonderful place to visit.Love the slower pace of life, people are very friendly.Best is no traffic lights! However we found some cafes and restaurants closed or shut early, due to the COVID issues.Missed the lovely vibe in town but there is still lots to see and do,so it never stops your enjoyment of this fabulous place to visit or stay!
We stayed in this luxury accommodation nearly three years ago and were thrilled to be back. The apartment is spotless, well equipped and maintained, and within walking distance of so many Margaret River restaurants, pubs, galleries and attractions. It’s also easy to get to the fabulous wineries and breweries in every direction of the town. Felicity was super-friendly and efficient with checking us and showing us around, and the breakfast items left for us were top quality and much appreciated. Hope to be back soon!
We loved the way our cottage backed onto the forest, complete with walking tracks, the other side edged with paddocks. It was a wonderful place to unwind, well set back from the road and peacefully quiet. The cottage had recently been renovated with comfy mattresses, and made up with quality linen and nice throw rugs. Walking in gave the ....aaaah feeling ... The bathroom/laundry was also well equipped. Only 2km from Margaret River, it was a quick drive to get supplies or a coffee fix.
This was my second stay at this wonderful accommodation. It is ideally located within a 5 minute walk to the centre of town overlooking the beautiful forest. There are lovely bush walks straight in front of the house around Margaret River. It is ideally suited to a family group or group of friends as it has three bathrooms, a large communal area and lovely decking area. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return.
There was a tranquility about this property which we enjoyed. It was an easy stroll to the main street and all the usual shops are there as well as an informative Information Centre. We intended to only stay one night but had the luxury of being to spend another day in Margaret River and enjoy the amenities and benefits the town had to offer.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhouse with 3 adults and 2 children. Wonderful location 5-10 mins of Caves Road and 10-15 mins from Margaret River. The people working there are very nice, there’s a good bar/restaurant in the complex and there’s loads to do around. Of course the beach is nearby. Highly recommended.
The hotel was a good place to stay in town after exploring some interest points in the Margaret River region. The town house my family stayed in was clean, comfortable and basic amenities were provided (i.e.shampoo, soap, towels). There were also laundry and bbq facilities.
Ideal location right at the entrance to Margaret river city centre and super close to the lovely Margaret River bakery. Great outdoor barbie facilities! Lovely reception staff who was very helpful in accommodating our last minute booking at the hotel.
Lewis was an amazing host straight away he made us feel welcome, nothing was too much to trouble. The eggs were an added bonus and we thoroughly enjoy them and our stay. We would recommend Margaret River Chalets for a great holiday
The view from the apartment was amazing, absolutely loved sitting cosy inside whilst mesmerised watching the waves rolling in. Very short walk to dog friendly park where our little dog loved running around and meeting new friends.
The Margaret River Guest House is very well located, near to all local amenities with a lovely view of a nearby national park. The breakfast is delicious, the beds comfortable, bathrooms clean and hosts warm and generous.
Old hotel that has been upgraded. Motel behind is now part of hotel accommodations and is simple clean and comfortable. Old style but comfortable beds. Good bar and restaurant serving local wines
The Chalets are in a fantastic location with great access to all of Margaret River. They are as pictured, clean, free wifi and set in a wonderful peaceful location.
We really enjoyed this cottage, even stayed an extra night. Received good and up to date information on Margaret River at check-in.
Lovely spot. Will book it again in future for trips to Margaret River. House was contemporary and clean, facilities were great.
The house was clean with good kitchen and amenities. Great back yard for our children to play and keep entertained.
Great location in Margaret River. Hotel had a great atmosphere. Great facilities, including pool area.
The room was lovely, very comfy bed and the bathroom with spa bath was amazing.
it was a pet friendly accommodation for our shih tzu
