Stay Margaret River offers spacious guest rooms in a quiet garden setting. This 4-star hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Margaret River region. My friend and I have stayed here before and enjoyed the room with breakfast during our stay. One night we had dinner in the restaurant whilst the other two nights we met with friends in the town area. Will definitely return next year when the Margaret River Open Art Studios are on.
Set among landscaped gardens in the Margaret River wine region, Grand Mercure Basildene Manor features spacious rooms and suites, a swimming pool, sun terrace and tennis court. This hotel is on the outskirts of Margaret River - a 5 minute drive to town. Great grounds and having the heated outdoor pool is perfect
Just an 8-minute walk from the river, the Margaret River Resort offers air-conditioned rooms with TV, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and an on site pub serving meals and local wines. Great room, very comfy bed, awesome bath! Nice restaurant and bar. Check-in out of reception's hours was very easy and well explained. The property is few minutes walk from the main road with all cafes and restaurants.
Located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, Margaret River Tourist Park features a swimming pool and free BBQ facilities. All accommodations offers a kitchen and a flat-screen TV. Good location. Quiet. Great two bedroom well equiped chalet. Comfy beds. Price surprising reasonable. Not a negative for our stay at all. Will definitely visit again.
Adamsons Riverside Accommodations is set among beautiful gardens in Margaret River's town center. All rooms offer free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a shared courtyard with wood stove. Great location at the start of town. Lovely reception staff. Fabulous accommodation, the room was a good size, bed was very comfortable, as were the chairs when watching TV. Tea, coffee, milk & biscuits supplied as well as fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster. A huge library of DVDS & books are available to borrow for free as well as tourist info. Il

By far one of the best regions of Western Australia and only a short 2.5 hour easy trip south of Perth city. With so many choices of accommodation, in winter we love staying within walking distance to town or at least a very short drive to avoid kangaroos, alternatively in summer, the beach and seaside areas are fantastic. With so many decisions on where to eat, Elkamo restaurant in Margaret river town was superb, whilst the Berry farm, Olio Bello, The Sea Garden cafe and many others (too many to list) all provide quality food and beverages. If staying in town, a few days is a great stay duration, if exploring the region, then allow yourself around 5 days to absorb everything in. There's really nothing we don't like about this region, quality accommodation, excellent food and a fantastic area to get down to nature through some of the most beautiful bush drives such as the Boranup Forrest and trails.
Enjoy visiting the Margaret River region but like everywhere else it has had its issues with COVID. Many places didn’t offer dinner, some places were closed for lunch even though it was the school holidays and super busy. Hopefully things will pickup as overseas travelers start coming back to WA.
It was relaxed and not rushed. Although a lot of the wineries we went to were closed there was still a lot to do. The beaches/surfing which is what we came down for was fantastic. We had multiple opportunities to sample different foods and drink, the cafes were wonderful and catered for our dietary restrictions (FODMAP). A lot of things were walking distance on the Main Street. The Sidewalk Cafe, Fudge Factory, Chocolate Factory, Cheese Factory, The Lavender Tea House, Yallingup Maze, Caves House (must do), Sundlowers Animal Farm, Margaret River Skate Park and the Sea Garden Cafe are all great places to visit!
Highly recommend the Eagle heritage bird park. So informative, entertaining and great value. What a wonderful service they do to rehabilitate injured birds of prey. Recommend to book at eateries during peak periods Colonial brewing doesn’t have a great selection of food choices, mainly pizza and burgers. Great spot for families with young kids. Can take your dog
If you like wineries, then go. Other than that, there is not much to Margaret River. There is one small main street, not many restaurants. We did a Discover Margaret River Tour which was excellent as it showcased the produce, apart from wineries (we visited 3). Other than that one drives to other tourist locations, like the caves, light house etc.
I did not do much sightseeing (this time) as I went for an event at a local Restaurant. MR is a warm friendly town , picturesque and welcoming . It offers an abundance of accom types and eateries. There is a lot to see and do and it deserves at least 3/4 days to cover the beach and hinterland as well as the charming township itself
The property was located in a serene and a beautiful place. Perfect retreat for anyone wanting to stay in Margaret river region. It’s located near wineries and gracetown beach is 5 kms from the place. We stayed in the Mcfurlan suite which had spa bath , ample amount of space, shared verandah and queen bed . Loved the way we were welcomed from the friendly staff and the also give 100 marks for MJ bistro situated in the hotel for the quality of food. Thanks and we will surely be back to stay at karriview
There is absolutely nothing to fault about our stay at Margaret River Hideaway! The cottages are impeccably clean and well equipped. Kids had a great time during the animal feeding, collecting freshly laid eggs for breakfast. Above all, Manager Kim is so passionate at doing what she does, she made the stay above 5 stars! Always so helpful, patient with the kids and us, always making everyone has a go at feeding the animals and taking every question from the kids. Thank you for taking care of us!
The location is excellent with parking and being able to walk through the arcade to the Main Street is very handy. The building is next door to Coles and the Margaret river hotel is in view. Apartment is very clean and great for 2 couples with separate bathrooms. Just beware that one bed is a double as was too small for us but My fault as didn't read it properly. Highly recommend for all the facilities of this place.
The home is gorgeous and immaculate. Beautiful linens, modern architecture, huge windows. Our hostess, Gayle, went above and beyond to accommodate us with delicious breakfast and sound advice. She couldn’t have been nicer. The location is perfect to access the beaches of Margaret River & Prevelly, as well as the town of MR. Highly recommend.
Beautiful property, surrounded by nature (flowers, orchards, trees, pond with frogs, lots of birds). Spacious , modern, comfortable interiors. All kitchen/laundry/BBQ amenities. Quiet location (although some chalets might be closer to the main rad and have traffic noise). Walking distance to Margaret River shops and restaurants.
The house was lovely and in a great location, easy walking distance to Margaret River’s main shopping area. Well maintained and nicely presented. Communication was excellent with the property management team. It was great that our dog was allowed to stay too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic hotel! I have stayed a few times and you cannot get better value for money in margaret river. Breakfast is brilliant, room spotless and pool area is lovely. 10 minute walk into town and a short drive to beautiful beaches. Can’t fault it!
Got to meet lots of interesting folk in communal lounge. Cooked breakfast outstanding. Nice hosts who were always available but unobtrusive. Lovely atmosphere among fellow guests who were always happy to share Margaret River experiences.
The size of the apartment, unique layout, surrounded by nature and animals and seclusion from neighbours. Easy login to the wifi and use of the spa. Close to Margaret River town and Prevally/Gracetown. Primo spot to get around.
Great location, comfortable and spacious house with a large and open garden that was perfect for the kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. It made for an easy and relaxed holiday.
We loved the self contained cottage, with 2 bedrooms, comfortable beds and nice living room with space. We were provided with a porta cot and high chair for our baby
Everything! Huge luxury apartment with everything you need. Local produce for a few days of breakfast. 5 star living in the heart of Margaret River.
Lovely secluded spot, kangaroos, rabbits and beautiful birds on the lawn. Very welcome hot tub. It was a peaceful, idyllic stay
Outstanding breakfast, superb location in Margaret River, the hosts Keith and Jane could not do enough for us.
Very spacious apartment with fabulous bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms Great location in Margaret River
Everything about the house is great. Very clean and comfortable. Great location in Margaret River.
That the hotel is central to everything in town
Great room, very comfy bed, awesome bath! Nice restaurant and bar. Check-in out of reception's hours was very easy and well explained. The property is few minutes walk from the main road with all cafes and restaurants.
