Offering luxurious accommodations in the town center of Margaret River, the Studio Guest Suites is a Georgian-style guest house furnished and themed in various periods. I lived the room and the bath tube. The breakfast is really good. There was freshly cut fruit, yoghurt, eggs, juice and milk in the fridge. We were given a fresh loaf of bread every evening. We throughly enjoyed eating our breakfast in the Gatsby suite.
Set among landscaped gardens in the Margaret River wine region, Grand Mercure Basildene Manor features spacious rooms and suites, a swimming pool, sun terrace and tennis court. The staff at Basildene Manor were outstanding. They always had a smile on their face and were happy to chat with customers, answer any questions and recommend activities/wineries in the Margaret River. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice from the continental selection or a cooked meal from the menu. It was a fantastic way to start the day; an excellent breakfast whilst overlooking the spectacular gardens. The afternoon teas were a surprise (no additional cost) as was the gift of scones we received upon checking out. It is a piece of 'old world' charm.
Margarets In Town (formerly Darby Park Serviced Residences) offers accommodations right in the center of Margaret River town. It features free WiFi, a heated swimming pool and a tennis court. Our apartment was very comfortable and had everything you need - even if you wanted to cook your own meals! Having a washer and dryer is also great! We enjoyed being able to look out our window into the forest. But, what we will really remember about our stay here will be Stephanie ( she worked at the check in desk). She was so friendly and if it wasn’t for her directions we would have missed getting so close to those amazing kangaroos!!
Just an 8-minute walk from the river, the Margaret River Resort offers air-conditioned rooms with TV, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and an on site pub serving meals and local wines. Quick and easy check in/check out. Fantastic room, great location and facilities.
Located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, Margaret River Tourist Park features a swimming pool and free BBQ facilities. All accommodations offers a kitchen and a flat-screen TV. The resort are so wide.. There have complete cooking set..
Prideau's offers stylish modern accommodations in the heart of Margaret River town center. Free car parking is included. Some apartments have a spa bath in the bathroom. The location was great, and David showed me better rooms that could be available for my next visit
Located just 6.2 miles from the town of Margaret River, on WA’s spectacular South West Coast and just 1640 feet from pristine Gnarabup Beach, Margarets Beach Resort offers seaside 4-star apartment... The room was spacious...bed extra comfortable and so clean

Great spot to visit with a lovely high street full of cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping options. People are friendly and especially loved eating out at La Scarpetta Trattoria and the Thai Tamarind restaurants. Great base for visiting wineries and the beaches.
First time to Margaret River and stayed at Stay Margaret River. Stayed in the King room & bonus is it is Pet Friendly! Bed was so comfy and room very spacious, friends stayed in a queen room & triple room and also said the beds were comfy. Rooms were clean and located so close to city centre. Highly recommend checking out Cape Mentelle for their outdoor movies & Kappadokia Kebabs for their kebabs! Will be back again!
Now that the town centre has had its facelift and all businesses were open…it was much nicer than our previous visit 6 months ago. Lots of choice for eating and relaxing with a coffee. Of course all the better with the fact the weather was beautiful. Lots of lovely drives close by too.
Margaret River is a great place to come to visit beautiful beaches and forests, visit wineries etc. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. One thing I'd recommend is bringing a four wheel drive if you want to access the more interesting hiking places, the better spots have a bit of unsealed roads etc.
Margaret River is fantastic for foodies and wine lovers. So many lovely wineries and so much local produce eg cheese, olives, bread, fresh fruit and veggies. We always love going to MR - highly recommend
The town is filled with the ordinary (three supermarkets). I would've liked more local/country type options. Children insisted on getting Chicken Treat which was over priced ($60/3 people). They got the order wrong twice and it was only just edible. There are many attractions nearby and easy to get to (Caves, beaches, etc.)
Extremely peaceful, with lovely lawns and trees, set in a small valley by the Margaret River trail and an easy short walk into downtown. Parking was by each cottage. Also great deck with table and chairs ( plus a small bbq) to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside. Staff very friendly and helpful and was a great retreat to a ‘home away from home’ after a busy day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend.
The area was peaceful and quiet, and the lodge was beautifully maintained. The owner was helpful and friendly, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property to those wanting to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature in the heart of Margaret River.
Fantastic hotel! I have stayed a few times and you cannot get better value for money in margaret river. Breakfast is brilliant, room spotless and pool area is lovely. 10 minute walk into town and a short drive to beautiful beaches. Can’t fault it!
We really enjoyed the old school decor and our room layout. It was functional and cosy. The hotel was in a good location, at the start of the Margaret River main street and very close access to nice restaurants.
Location and cleanliness was the key points. Hotel is literally walking distance from city Center and 10-15 minutes away from beaches. 20min from chocolate company. 20min from caves what else you can ask for
Great location within walking distance to main street. Room was very comfortable. Very quiet although it has a very busy hotel at front. Easy parking. Very nicely maintained including the grounds.
we stayed in this beautiful accomadation for 4 nights and it was such a beautiful house, child friendly and an amazing location only 2 mins away from margaret river town.
The gardens are stunning and they serve a great breakfast. The property is well position in Margaret River. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The location was right in the heart of Margaret River town, perfect for our needs. Walking distance to everything in town, including hotels and restaurants
Great location. Nil complaints about the accommodation. Would like to stay next door at the Deco Penthouse next visit to Margaret River.
Another wonderful stay at Margaret river hotel. It's always fabulous that's why we always choose to stay here
Outstanding breakfast, superb location in Margaret River, the hosts Keith and Jane could not do enough for us.
This is a great property that is located in the middle Margaret River so you can walk to a lot of places.
A lot of amenities in room- more than I'd expect from a hotel (kettle, toaster etc)
We loved the feel and comforting environment the guest house gave us both.
Right next to Margaret River Brewhouse and Giniversity.
We liked everything, The friendly manager (kim), cleanliness of the studio, the location, the farm animals. The kids had a great time and definitely we will visit again soon :)
The facilities were amazing, very clean and such a beautiful location!
The room was spacious...bed extra comfortable and so clean
Absolute peace and tranquillity
