Set in Moranbah, Western Heritage Motor Inn has a garden, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring on-site dining, this 4-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with a patio. This is the best hotel in Moranbah, such warm and friendly staff, rooms always clean, comfy beds.
A friendly town with all the essentials. Easy place to drive in. Close to Mackay. The local airport is small by efficient. Mackay airport is only 2 hours away. The Moranbah Coles is large and everything is fresh. The local bakery is brilliant. The vibe is easy going, relaxed and friendly.
The town is a forgotten town, nothing there for the family to do plus it is extremely hot. The Council should look at putting some infrastructure into the town for the residents. Everyone travels to Mackay for the weekends which is taking loads of money from the Moranbah Community. The Workmans club was fantastic, thank God it was there, we dined there 3 times in 3 days. We went to the pool which was really enjoyable but it closed at 5pm?? The pool is the only activity that can be enjoyed by a family. It is too hot for the children to be outside of the air-conditioning.
Moranbah is a busy mining town, probably a little bit dusty but seemed friendly enough. It seems to have essential facilities for families for recreation and work. Gardens and streets are maintained reasonably well.
The shopping centre and a town Square have all the essentials. Public pool is brilliant for babies to adults and a welcome relief from the heat. Plenty to do for toddlers in the water playground, BBQ and grassed areas and pools are covered. It’s a great country town! There’s a Thai food caravan on Mills Ave some nights (yum), Chinese restaurant , workers club, steak bar and the usual fast food outlets.
Moranbah is a mining town purpose built but has a great library and pool and shops. There are good options for dining out and its a good opportunity to experience bush life in central Queensland and taste the pioneering spirit of the people. No frills, hard work, family and a well earned beer.
Easy to book, Great after hours check in service, rooms spotless and sanitised, guys reported cleanest, most private spot they've stayed in for a group project in moranbah.
Great place run by great people. Highly recommend it for any stay in Moranbah.
It was clean, tidy and good location. It’s good hotel for a night or two
Comfortable and convenient to everything while we stayed in Moranbah.
Meals at the Hotel were nice and the staff are friendly.
low cost compared to the other motels in town
