The room was beautifully designed and fitted out with top of the range appliances. Incredibly tranquil and relaxing! The restaurant is a winner, with delicious dinner and breakfast (though a bit expensive for what you get.) The grounds are simply stunning. Overall, one of the best places we've ever stayed!

It's very close to Freycinet National Park, the breakfast is delicious and very complete and Karen's attention was wonderful. The views from the breakfast room are beautiful. The room is large and the bed is huge. We really enjoyed the hydromassage bathtub.

Just 3 minutes’ walk from Swansea main beach, Swansea Motor Inn offers free Wi-Fi and BBQ facilities. Some accommodations features a private balcony with views of Great Oyster Bay. We upgraded to the newer room, but the older rooms are perfectly nice too. Staff very friendly & helpful, lovely view, nice patio, good shower, good value. Enforcement of Quiet Hours policy is very important in motels with outdoor areas, since some will talk outside late, and smoke😑. No one did at this property!!
Swansea
Located in Swansea, this heritage-listed house offers free WiFi. It is 5 minutes' walk from a variety of shops and restaurants in the town center. Meredith House was superb there isn't a thing we didn't like about this property, from the location to the room size and all the little details this property has throughout the stay. Was absolute first class.

Set in Swansea, Belmont Homestead features accommodation with access to a garden. Complimentary private parking is available on site. Belmont Homestead exceeded our expectations. The property was absolutely lovely and breathtaking. Every corner needed exploring. Their were too many photo opportunities. Maureen and John were the most wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you! We decided to stay in for dinner. It was the best choice. Our family room was perfect for sitting around to enjoy the surroundings. Belmont Homestead was a great location to explore Freycinet National Park. There was also a quaint little cottage, which we hope to stay at on our next visit to Tasmania’s East coast and a vibrant Gypsy Van, which was very delightful. I highly recommend Belmont Homestead and the wonderful hosts, Maureen and John. Thank you for having us.

Hamptons on the Bay features spectacular sea views over Great Oyster Bay. Explore the natural beauty of the Freycinet Peninsula where guests might spot wallabies and whales. Stunning interior and views! All bedrooms have ensuites which is great.
the town was very quiet when we visited It is only a small town but has adequate shops for provisions and a few good options for dining which were all easy walking from our accommodation. easy for a day trip to Freycinet National Park and many great wineries nearby
Did not like this place at all. The pictures on the Web page does not reflect the smelly old dark brick and crappy bathroom facilities. Even outside my room entrance was dirty and only needed a blower to try to make it tidy. Only if there was a bit of pride and care by the hosts. Will not consider this place again ever and happy to camp in a tent instead. Happy face but crappy condition. Anyone looking at pictures please note, pictures look far better than reality.
I liked Swansea very much, friendly people and good food. The weather was fantastic and just taking in the serenity was what we were there for. Swansea is close to other areas as well. We visited Coles Bay and Bicheno and plan to go again to see what we missed.
Swansea is a lovely little spot that is an integral part of the east coast experience - and should be enjoyed as such. Its good for a short or overnight stay thats in easy reach of other parts of the east coast.
Swansea is a relaxing, slow pace. Groceries are regular prices, no gouging. Opp shops are a real surprise. Post office even, full of interesting items. Just down past gas station a small organic cafe before golf club (on the bay). Views, walks, attractions and beaches. Down the other end toward highway, Bark Mill Bakery... really, do it. Online centre and library (helpful history). Recommend Swanea for the need-a-breather weekend. Gardens are lovely. Easy to walk around. No strenuous hills. Full of friendly and kind people. Fish, eat, walk, sleep, boat, shop, browse, rest, swim, foreshore plagrounds and parks, watch whales in the bay (not a promise but tis the season, you never know.)
Enjoyed the much quieter Spikey Beach as a beach to visit. We had wanted to visit Kate's Berry Farm and Melshell but unfortunately closed. We simply enjoyed a picnic dinner and our hosts supplied breakfast.
Swansea
Had a recent one night stay, the location of this hotel is great, right on the beach and in the centre of Swansea. Reception staff were efficient and our room had the most fantastic view of the bay. Sufficient parking was available just outside the room.

The Piermont retreat is located in an outstanding location. The villas are privately appointed and have a rustic charm to them. The restaurant had a delightful 5 course seasonal menu. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the nearby Devil’s Corner Vineyard.
Swansea
A gorgeous, quaint and very comfortable B and B. Room had a lovely view over the water. All amenities supplied and a delicious breakfast included in price. Karen was a delightful host supplying us with all information we needed for our stay in Swansea.
Swansea
As a retired tourism executive this was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have stayed at anywhere in the world. A generous, supurb cooked breakfast with fresh fruit and super juice.
Room was dusty, advertising misleading, bathroom was unclean. Scum in the bathtub. Not what we was expecting. Breakfast was a bit average, no Tasmanian products.
Swansea
Perfect accomodation for our stay in Tasmania! We loved every aspect of our stay at Belmont Homestead and would recommend it to anyone else in a heartbeat!

House is amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. Anything you need or think of throughout the stay, was there. Everything has been thought through and provided. Hosts are super responsive. Getting the key was so easy, enter, up the drive, done, as opposed to AirBnB which is more like a quest and involves clues and wizards. Really appreciated that. Amazing location, great base, so glad I found it as it was superior to all my other choices. Thought about buying it - definitely didn’t want to leave. Caters so well for 6 people, all with separate quarters, purpose built really.
