It's OK for one or two night stay. Close to CBD. Restaurant onsite. Very small bathroom no exhaust fan, clear glass in bathroom window, which offers no privacy, as a nursery is next door , no flyscreens. Generally rooms are too small
Both the Warwick Hotel and The Malt House have excellent meals, although The Malt House is better value for money. The Malt House had better customer service than the Warwick Hotel. I think that they underestimated the amount of customers they were going to have on the evening that we went and didn’t appear to have enough staff to cover the shift.
Quite surprised with variety of good cafe options. Really enjoyed coffee mornings at Belle Vue & also scrumptious burger for impromptu dinner on deck at Char Belas. Lovely old buildings in main street, gorgeous rose gardens & sandstone churches you can’t help admire. All within easy walk. A generally slow paced country town getaway but with a touch of city living thrown in. Cinemas & new shopping plaza for eg Have previously ridden the steam train from historic railway station-absolutely a must do!
I found the town nice and easy to drive around in, though I wish I had made the trip on the way up (Cunningham Highway) in the daylight. My meal from the RSL was excellent value for money and the locals are very friendly.
Warwick is a quiet rural Queensland town. It is home to a wonderful steam railway that operates out of the towns main railway station. The railway operates on selected weekends. Contact Southern Downs Steam Railway for more information. Food options for early morning breakfast is very limited on weekends so either insure your hotel has breakfast or prepared some breakfast food the night before. Also be aware the supermarket is closed on Sundays and after 6pm at night.
I was in Warwick for a workshop and was pleasantly surprised at what a lovely town it is. Very pretty main street and parkland by the river. I dont think I would chose it as a holiday destination, but if its on your journey its well worth a stop over.

We have just returned from the Jumpers and Jazz festival in Warwick and had the pleasure of staying at 53 on Victoria. Our apartment (no: 4) was spacious, elegant, thoughtfully appointed with little touches of opulence everywhere. This place is an absolute gem and somewhat of a surprise packet even in a town as pretty and diverse as Warwick. The owners are very welcoming and helpful and are very passionate about their facilities and town. We will definitely be returning to Warwick and 53 on Victoria.

Its position was close to warwicks main attractions. there is an attractive park across the road from the hotel. The swimming pool looked lovely although we chose not to use it as it was a touch too cool.

The motel was easy to find with the sat nav on a major road into Warwick. The room was comfortable but not big. We were recommended a restaurant a couple of blocks away and had a very pleasant meal there. Somewhere simple to stop at overnight when traveling.
