Located in Wondai, 16 mi from Kingaroy, Wondai Hideaway Apartment features free WiFi access and free private parking. We loved the setting and the peace, and the birdlife. Enjoyed walking on the property and the veg/herb garden and fruit trees, and Roger kindly gave us some lemons and limes to take home! The eco friendly toiletries provided were a nice touch and smelled lovely!
Located in Moffatdale in the Queensland region, Redgate Country Cottages provides accommodations with free private parking. Awesome king size bed and it was comfy. Really good shower. Good little kitchenette. Tasty coffee. Great views and so many stars at night. I really enjoyed my stay at Redgate.
Located in Kingaroy in the Queensland region, Redrock Retreat has a patio and garden views. This self-catered bed and breakfast features a garden and free private parking. Retreat is a good name for this property. We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay gazing out into the treetops of the forest and watching the birds.
The helpful reception by the owners upon arriving, plus the comfort, cleanliness and ease of parking made for a very delightful stay. I highly recommend this establishment as a very comfortable base from which to explore the local area. There is much to do and see in and around Wondai .
Wondai is a great friendly little town which you can use as a central location to do trips out from. There are sufficient facilities and shopping in Wondai and if you get desperate Kingaroy is only 20 minutes away.
Wondai is a super friendly town. Everybody is relaxed. I did not meet any lefties trying to control what we could do. Everybody was just helpful and wanting to welcome us. I feel like buying a house here and staying. The surrounding country is beautiful. The sky is so blue. Fresh local produce. Covid is not a concern in Wondai. I can see a future where lots of people move from the city and disperse away from Covid hotspots and people who want to control you, and move into these lovely picturesque country places.
Great bed & shower. Nice fluffy towels. Full sized fridge, kitchenette, good air con. Big wardrobe cupboard. Nice big modern bathroom. Excellent info from reception staff re local eating places. Only helpful addition would be a bedside light/lamp.
Wondai is not a destination. We were at Bunya Mts area and wanted to check out Kingaroy, Wondai and Murgon areas on our way back to Brisbane. Wondai has an incredible Art Gallery and cute Tea rooms and Homemade gifts. This was a surprise. Not been there before but would go back just for the Art Gallery- one of the best country Art Galleries in QLD.
What a beautiful area and place to stop on a road trip. There is the local motel to sleep for a night, some food at the local pub and quaint shops which have recently opened. Pow Wow is a wonderful addition to this country town, for some vintage wares and a great cup of tea or coffee this is a must stop.
Awesome pool and campers kitchen. Mitch is a great host, he showed me around town and told me where best to eat. Thanks for you hospitality!!!
