On The Beach Resort Bribie Island features direct access to Woorim Beach. This stylish property offers an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities and free parking access. Excellent location - direct access to the beach, across the road from a supermarket, butcher, bakery, newsagent and pub; cafes and takeaway shops downstairs and just a short stroll to the surf club. If you want beautiful views, summer breezes and not having to use your car for a beach break, this is the place for you. I would definitely return.

Offering free WiFi and free private parking, Pet Friendly home walking distance to Surf Beach - North St, Woorim is located in Woorim, within just a 2-minute walk of Woorim Beach. Super spacious and comfortable holiday house that was a stones throw from a gorgeous and safe beach. The property was far beyond our expectations, it was clean and tidy, with aircon in every room, great beds and plenty of room for the four of us. Shops, surf club and brilliant pub and cafes are a 1km/10min stroll away. Cinemas, art gallery (with amazing cafe) and the jetty side of the island are about a 10-15 min drive. We loved our stay so much we’re looking at booking again for later in the year.
The locals are so friendly. The dining experience at the local Hotel, Surf Club and RSL were great and the service amazing!! Typical sea side greeting! Won big at RSL thanks to the advice of a lady that works @ Wilkies Auto 🤣
Very disappointed at this accommodation. We were not informed about recent flooding. At check in told lifts weren’t working and we couldn’t park our car in the underground parking as it was flooded. We needed to leave our car on the road. A pump was on during our stay, so our view was trees and a pump pouring out water in a muddy swamp. No beach or golf course views. We should have been informed about recent flooding issues before we arrived. No on told us of the conditions.
We loved that Woorim Beach is very, very close to the northern suburbs of Brisbane compared to the other big surf beaches further up the coast and the car park is nice and close to the entrance of the beach which is helpful for families with younger children. Also the couple of close-by cafes serving eat-in or takeway options offer excellent food and drinks. One in particular called Pie Face also had excellent, attentive customer service as well as great food! :) It's an easy to get to and fantastic sandy beach and surf, ideal for the younger children to play with close to beach facilities like a car park, cafes, green picnic spaces and toilets/changerooms. :)
There were 2 men in the villa next door. They had to cross the back of the property to access the shed. A little too frequently. I brought groceries and ate at the cottage. I live locally, so I was after local sights or activities. There are plenty around, and it’s a good place to land for getting out and about, or solitude.
One of the best beaches north of Brisbane. The locals are friendly and the parks, shops, pub and club are all pluses. There is a lot of 4WD traffic on North Street heading to the areas north of Woorim that they can access the beach legally. Their noise does impact on amenity of that street especially close to the turn off.
Woorim is a very small area on the ocean side of Bribie Island. So consequently it is the local surfing beach. Has Surf Lifesavers present during the summer months, and holiday seasons. It has various styles of accommodation, and various eateries. These days there are a lot of small apartments along the waterfront for the holidaymakers. The passage side of the island is a much larger community, with more eateries, restaurants and 'fish and chipperies', calmer waters for family swimming and sailing etc. It is a very short car ride to cross from Woorim to Bongaree on the passage side, which is where the bridge from Queensland mainland ends. The view just before sunset from the passage beaches across to the mainland is exquisite with the beautiful Glass House Mountains, looking very glassy and mystical.
What a location. Absolutely perfect. Met on arrival by excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. You relax the minute you enter the resort with its Balinese feel, water features, trees and lovely pool and then there is the beach only steps away. Perfect ! Coffee houses on the doorstep to choose from and terrific pub meals directly across the road. No need to go anywhere but Woorim. Certainly my paradise 💜☀️☀️💜
Location was perfect, could walk to cafes, hotels and beach. We picked the keys up from the real estate at Bongaree and the staff there were very friendly and easy to deal with, they even rang the day before to let us know we could get in earlier than the 2pm check in
Very close to beach and views were amazing! Blue Pacific Hotel, Surf Club and RSL had great food and even better service 🙃 Everyone is just so friendly compared to Brisbane haha
Great location in Woorim across the road form shops, surf club and pub. Beds and furniture all comfy. Kitchen had all the appliances and utensils you needed.
Everything.. so quiet and relaxing 😌 staff so welcoming so close too hotel and surf club meals excellent have a supermarket IGA and BWS CLOSE BY
