PhilippinesSpectacular location overlooking the endless greenery of Wilsons Prom yet very accessible to a local grocery and the main town center. The big glass windows of the bedroom and the hallway makes a picture perfect view of the scenery. The facilities were good, the place is very modern, facilities provided were perfect for cooking and making breakfast in the cabin. Bathroom and bedroom are very spacious. Everything was cleaned well too. I so love the place, it’s so far the best accommodation of this whole trip. The host was super nice and accommodating and quick to reply to my questions.

it is the starting point for hikes walks sitting on a beach...
it is the starting point for hikes walks sitting on a beach and going on a boat trip around Tidal River - could not believe the amount of camping spaces at Tidal River. If anyone has a chance please do the boat ride - amazing we had a very calm sunny day out on the Bass Strait.

Half hours drive to Tidal River may not suit some visitors who’d prefer to be closer to various hikes.
We prefer being in a quieter location, so it suited us perfectly((& Fish Creek & Foster close by are worth visiting)

Yanakie is a small area near the entrance to the Wilson...
Yanakie is a small area near the entrance to the Wilson Promontory Park. It has a pizza restaurant and garage/general store. A good place to get accommodation for exploring the Prom if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Tidal River site. Pizza restaurant is a bonus as the only place for proper food in the area.

Not much to say. Close to beautiful Wilsons Prom.
Not much to say. Close to beautiful Wilsons Prom. Has a good Local pizza shop with a general store and Petrol station. The guy in the general store was rude and grumpy. He carried on about covid rules and mask-wearing even though I had an exemption. Lucky it was when we were on our way out.

The cabins are situated on a family owned property at Yanakie, the gateway to Wilsons Promitory, with great views of the surrounding land. Our cabin was comfortable, clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. It was a quiet, relaxing place to stay with lovely gardens and large expanse of lawn. Highly recommend staying here.

What we loved: The breathtaking views over the bay, the hotel’s perfect proximity to Wilsons Prom, the kangaroos grazing just outside our door at sunset, and the warm, helpful advice from Marcus.
