Family-owned lovely hotel!
If you plan to just stay on the beach, this place is perfect. Literally waking up to the beach every morning, and the chef cooks breakfast every morning.
I was a little bit worried since I was traveling alone, but this space was just perfect.
The chef takes private dinner orders, and it was delicious. Also, ask Reno to take you glass land by boat.
There is another full-service villa right next door, and it is connected via the beach, so you can literally just walk over for lunch/dinner or a bar if you don't want to go far. Flying Fishbone and Zooveros are also within walking distance.
You definitely need a car if you are a first-timer in Aruba and want to get around. The supermarket is a 5-minute drive. You may be able to walk, but it's too hot to walk in my opinion. I didn't plan to go to the other side of Aruba, so I was okay, but if it's your first time, I recommend renting a car and making sure to bring your liquor and snacks since room has refrigerator.
I will definitely be coming back! ❤️

The apartement in Savaneta was great for privacy and relaxation. When you want to get to the busy tourist areas and beaches it is not difficult. Tip: buy some day bus passes at the Oranjestadt Arubus terminal. They are 10USD for each pass for the whole day. Zee Rovers restaurant is great for fresh catch of the day fish and or shrimp. Nice place to eat and hang out right at the waterfront. Sushi factory also good in Savaneta, likewise House of Cakes.
Car rentals are a little pricey for a single person. However the Arubus takes you almost all places along the Aruba main road. I think bicycling would be a little dangerous with lots of cars zipping by.
This hotel is a prime example that the class of a hotel is not the stars, marbles, mirrors or pools, but the people. Graciela and Victor are the backbone of this hotel and that you will feel as if you are going to your closest family. In this mega expensive island they will help you not to waste unnecessary money. Graciela your empanadas are the best in the world. Dear hotel owner I don't know how much you pay them but they deserve better.
Very nice hotel! Fantastic location just next to the water and beach! Great water for kayaking and snorkeling. Beautiful sunsets! The family that owned the hotel was fantastic! Welcoming, friendly and looking after you - so that you had a good stay! The chef that made fantastic omelettes for breakfast. Nice restaurants next to the hotel; Flying Fishbone and Zeerover!
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We´ll be back!
The location was great for going to Baby beach, Zeerover (walking distance) and Arikok. The staff responded quickly and were very pleasant. We went to the Sushi Factory which is down the road, they had some good sushi, a must do when in Savaneta. There was sufficient space to park our rental car too.
The hotel was perfect; the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and advised me about the island the whole time.
