Overlooking the mountainous landscape, this hotel is located in Jahorina, only few steps from the Ogorjelica ski elevator and 17 mi from Sarajevo. We made it at the end of the season (April), but weather was still great for skiing. There weren't many people and some facilities were closed for the season, like the kids: club, but the hotel helped find a babysitter, as well as an excellent ski instructor. The spa was better than expected, with a great massage and really hot Finish sauna.

Ski resort absolutely on par with those of western europe, for a fraction of the price, with better food, and great snow even in march. The cablecars are plenty and modern, there are no queues anywhere and there is a good variety of slopes that can suit anyones needs! Will definitely return in the future!

A ski resort with personality.
A ski resort with personality. The people from Republika Srpska really have a soul. You shall enjoy the food, the nature and the mountain. Although it can be a little crowded 14-16 February. Comparing to other European ski resorts it is a little disorganized, just to reflect the local state of mind, but there is a charm in there.

We visited Jahorina in Feb to ski there. The slopes are amaizing and you need a week to discover all of them, i think! it was a loooot of snow during our visit. There are a lot of hotels/guest houses/houses for rent as well as restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and ski rentals. The prices are mostly more than reasonable. Super tasty food! all is great except of smoking in public places and certainly indoor: restaurants, leaving rooms in the guest houses. That is very crusial for me personally. We went for a coffee in a cafe on a slope - 15 minutes inside, you seat it the cloud of smoke, and you stink - your hair, cloths. no more visit of winter Bosnia. Only summer when you can seat on terrace.

Skiing fantastic, Great runs and lifts but its the people working there that make it. Super friendly and helpful, we go every year. World class. Accommodation brilliant and excellent location. We brought a lot of our own food as we have small kids, shopping for groceries is limited

A beautiful, original and cozy restaurant with a bar next to an open fireplace. Parking lot directly next to the hotel. Delicious food with professional catering. Last but not least, the biggest compliment goes to the wonderful, warm-hearted and always smiling employees: because of them, in addition to all of the above, this facility has a soul! We highly recommend it. We'll be back!

Perfectly situated on the ski slopes…able to ski in and out, with clean, comfortable, warm rooms. Great ski rental center on the property with new and well maintained equipment. Really enjoyed the spa and sat in the sauna each night after skiing. The restaurant had a nice menu with a selection of local and international dishes. Hotel staff very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my daughter and I…they were very helpful. Overall, Hotel Lavina is a great choice for skiing Jahorina.

Great, spacious apartment close to the slopes, two mini markets and a few restaurants. Interior is bit dated but that may add to the charm. The fire place is a big plus, as is the very welcoming and helpful host! No private parking space, so parking is paid (like everywhere on Jahorina), about EUR 7,50 per day or EUR 30 for a week

Location is exceptional, it is right next to ski lift Poljice and Hotel Vucko where you can have your meals if you don’t want to cook. Apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you may need no matter how long you stay. Host Sandra is great and you can count on any help or information you may need.
